Visited with my daughter and brother for brunch on a Sunday. Food is fresh and yummy. It’s a nice place for quick brunch/lunch. Prices are reasonable. Staff there are friendly and the place is clean. Parking: There are plenty free parking spaces. Kid-friendliness: My daughter is 10 and enjoys coming to French Franks. She enjoys the food there but wishes there was a kids menu. Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on the ground floor so wheelchair accessible. Only problem is that the toilets are downstairs. This could be a problem when needing the rest room.
I asked for tuna mayo, cheese, coleslaw with some salad and onion. As you can see from the photo below so little tuna that you can barely see it or taste it for the matter. There wasn’t much in the way of cheese or coleslaw either. I was very disappointed after spending over £5 on a baguette. I left thinking that I will just make it at home. This has happened so many times now that I am considering going elsewhere - after 8 or more times, I thought that’s it I’m writing a review it is the same at the Newport one. You get the odd staff member putting a nice lot of filling in but most don’t now - so why not train them all the same?! I know that someone reviewed about the lack of filling a month ago so I simply cannot understand why this wasn’t rectified then - I don’t like giving poor reviews as I know how tough business can be, but when people are spending a lot of money this is not acceptable for the price that is charged. You responded to them to ask for more - you should train your staff to put more in please and not put the embarrassment onto customers. Not so much choice either. I also can’t understand why it is not dog friendly - you won’t even let people queue up with their dogs to pay. Not really fitting with what people expect these days.

Top shelf cafe with great coffee and snacks. We read other glowing reviews and chose here to have our morning coffee and were not disappointed. Walked past later in the day and it was totally packed, justified!
3 of us came here every morning for breakfast at 8am for the 4 nights we all stayed at the nearby Travelodge. Very clean, modern and the outside had been freshly painted. Very nice food and friendly staff. Great cup of tea to. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
A really great place to eat in or take away. The staff are very helpful. Had morning coffee and cake then went back for lunch. Food based on baguettes, rolls and cakes plus lots more. I can't praise the place highly enough and the prices are very good. Vegetarian options: They had a lot of choices Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu Wheelchair accessibility: Yes the cafe is all on one floor but the toilets are down stairs .
