Staff are usually really friendly but I had a bad customer experience quite recently. I tried to return two sale items and was told very abruptly and rudely that they do not refund sale items and I’d have to use the credit in store. I have never heard of this in a shop before and wouldn’t have bought the items if I knew this. I told the lady that I wasn’t aware of this policy and no one mentioned anything when I had originally bought the items. Before I could even finish my sentence she snapped at me saying ‘we don’t have to tell people that’. She pointed to a tiny box with even smaller writing on the counter with the policy. Her attitude was really standoffish and she wouldn’t even look me in the eye. I stated again that I think it would be best to tell people before they buy sale items or to have a bigger sign somewhere. She again rudely stated ‘we don’t have to tell people that’. The whole thing made me feel really uncomfortable and it wasn’t a very nice experience. She ended up refunding my money back on my card but I just felt upset by the experience and there was a really bad atmosphere in the shop. I understand how frustrating it can be working in retail as I have done this for many years but her attitude was really unnecessary. I definitely won’t be returning to this shop.
Absolutely wonderful, thank you so much. Excellent food,super friendly service, loads of charm ,not too noisy despite being fullso we could chat easily, and a really really good cocktail!!
I had the most amazing customer service from Daisy at the Newcastle shop today. I had seen a floor pouffe in a certain colour on the Internet but they didn't have it in stock..Daisy helped me choose another colour which is in fact much better. She even helped me to the taxi with my purchases. She made the whole experience less stressful I'm delighted with my purchases. I will definitely shop for home ware there again. I'm already addicted to the clothes!
Popped in yesterday , always lovely staff here Love the clothes and I bought the perfume yesterday. I buy the perfume every spring/ summer smells so fresh ! I've shopped here for years !
Really nice shop , staff are very friendly and polite and very helpful. I clean the shop on a temporary basis , and everytime i go its such a great atmosphere, and staff are so down to earth , . So go have a look round and buy some nice clothes , and tell them you were recomended by Ian the temp cleaner . Ps have fun .
