Amazing place. The room was one of the best we have stayed in. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive. Special thanks to Steve, the owner, who went out of his way to accommodate a special request. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back.
Posh foods great place. Not too pricey. Michelin recommended. Recently visited and had a wonderful inexpensive taster lunch. Casual attire OK. No parking as tucked down a small lane. Beer fine too, but it's the eats that you're going for!

Excellent food, service and exceptional value at £25 for set lunch menu. This was our first visit, certainly won't be the last.
The tasting menu was great, the 'hot dog' that came with the soup was the best bit for me. The flavours in every dish were too notch. I would avoid the wine flight that they recommend and go with a decent bottle or two. The tasting menu was £60 and the wine was £30 for 4 small glasses.
Delicious food in a relaxed setting. I have been many times over the years but not for quite a while - it was great to see the high standards I came to expect have not slipped an inch. A local treasure!
Fantastic , scrumptious food, excellent service. Stayed overnight,room was extremely comfortable and designed with care. A hearty breakfast in the morning. A super place.
