Always full. This village is generally full of visitors and tourists who either use the overpriced pubs or join the inappropriately dressed crowd tromping up the falls. If looking for a genuine hiking experience, plenty of other places to strike out from.
Unfortunately, there are four free of charge parking spaces only. Not too much, but good and this. The location is next to the public toilets and opposite the entrance leading to Elidir Trail Llwybr Elidir. However, there is no hassle with parking on the street. There are a lot of car park places there. I found a free place, and I parked my car there in September 2021.
Only 4 parking spots and the locals that work across the street use them while they are working even though they have a huge parking lot that they can park in…. Ughhhh
