A station, it's in my top 15 stations.
This station is filthy. The waiting area floors, everywhere. Chairs are so dingy,I could not sit on them. The only good thing is that there were a lot of staff hanging around waiting to help. Trains are frequent. Toilets are cordoned off at the moment due to vandalism they said.
Popular for the Pompey games as stadium is just up the road, better of with train to Portsmouth and Southsea or Portsmouth harbour for shopping or bars/restaurants
Was here for work.... nice little station though
Could be fine resolved approach directly from bridge above trains.
Beware, the loos are closed at present
Great station
The are friendly and helpful
Staff are so nice
Not as bad as other train stations in the South west, but definitely not first class and at times sketchy. I have to give it at least 3 stars though because they have frequent trains to Waterloo and that saved me one time!
