Visited here last week middle of the afternoon. Very quite so was in two minds of going in but glad we did it was the best pie and mash I've had ina long while. Little bit pricey but well worth it. Very recommended
I was very surprised that the price for pie, mash and liquor has jumped from £5 to £6.95 in a couple of weeks. I love it but not that much. The lovely lady who used to serve doesn't appear to be there any more
Possibly the worst pie we had seen. Burn black on the top. Greasy grey mince inside no veg, no gravy, no choice of meat. No ketchup available, dirty cutlery and morrisons value gravy granules at 1.50 quid a portion! Absolutely no customer service. And as for covid precautions there isn't any. Whole places need a deep clean. Could be a gold mine. Such a shame. Wouldn't bother again.
Really good pie & mash. The pie is traditional with just mince and well cooked pastry. Served with real potato mash and liquor. Condiments include chilli vinegar or non-brewed condiment. I think the previous reviewer is unrealistic because she doesn't understand traditional pie & mash. Gravy in the pie or tomato sauce - never!
Pie and mash here is really nice. Reasonably priced and food portions are a good size. The only thing is that I did have a hair in my food.
Great food definitely not out of a microwave, huge portions at great prices. Can't wait to visit again.
