We booked for last Saturday 25th June after finding this restaurant on google maps. It is an absolute jem of a place. From our starters Chicken parfait and fishcake to the mains Sole and rump of lamb were amazing. Especially the lamb. Beautifully pink and so so soft and tender. My wife loved the Sticky toffee pudding and remarked "It's so light you don't even feel like you're putting on weight" lol. The fact that on a Saturday the restaurant was fully booked and walk-ups were being turned away says a lot about how good this restaurant is. We will definitely return ! Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Have just come back from a lovely meal tonight in Franks. Food was superb and couldn’t fault a single things. Lovely and friendly service and reasonably priced. If you’re down in Cheddar for an evening, come to this place and you won’t regret it!

My wife and I have just returned from a most enjoyable evening at Frank's - this is without doubt the best restaurant in Cheddar and beyond. Sue, front of house, scores top marks for friendliness, knowledge and hospitality whilst Frank conjures up some scintillating dishes behind the scenes! A winning combination. It also has to be mentioned that they take the covid safety measures very seriously, more than can be said for some other local establishments, which we found very reassuring. We urge you to give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

Always a fantastic menu and 1st class ingredients. Frank is a stylish and inventive chef, which keeps us going back again and again. Sue is always welcoming as front of house and nothing is ever too much trouble - we love it!
Superb food, very well presented, excellent service, we were actually called by Frank following a cancelled booking, "we" were definitely the lucky ones. Looking forward to returning soon.
