Alan has been a brilliant instructor. He was very keen to make sure I became as good a driver as possible and gave me a wide variety of experiences on all sorts of different roads and conditions. He has a good knowledge and lots of interesting anecdotes about people’s driving and different situations on the roads. This all proved incredibly useful in learning to drive, not just to pass my test. He excels in teaching his pupils to be aware, thinking ahead and ready to use the road in a way that ensures every eventuality is covered. He supported me in many ways to build my confidence and develop my driving skills to help me pass first time. I would highly recommend him as a very good instructor who really prepares you well, not only for the test, but also for after you have passed, to ensure that driving diligently comes as a second nature. Andrea too is very helpful and supportive. She was always very accommodating and tried her best to arrange the lessons to suit my schedule as well as possible.

Not sure what I can say about Alan that hasn't already been said in the comments below - he's a true professional who goes above and beyond in ensuring his students are safe, capable & considerate drivers on all kinds of roads & in all conditions. As an 'older' learner I initially dreaded the thought of driving and I took a long time to learn, but Alan showed extreme patience and commitment to getting me to a stage where I was confident enough to pass my test. A huge thanks to Alan - and also to Andrea, who was warm, friendly and efficient. Would recommend Franklin & Morville in a heartbeat.

Just called for some information & to maybe book a block of lessons for my daughters 21st. The woman I spoke to wasn't very forthcoming at all, miserable to be fair. I was very polite with her & felt she was just rude.... Apparently they couldn't help because they don't do lessons in the evening which isn't very helpful if you work!! Also they're busy at weekends. Not a good way to run a business & take on new learner drivers. Not the type of people I'd want my daughter to learn to drive with.

Alan has been a brilliant driving instructor. I came to driving slightly later in life and didn't quite have the confidence at first. Though Alan demonstrated great patience and was immensely supportive throughout the whole process. Alan also managed to make my learning experience enjoyable, through his warm character and humour. Now I've passed my test, I feel set up for life as a safe and thorough driver. The techniques that Alan taught me allow me to drive with precision and confidence in any conditions. Thanks Alan!

*WOW* Thank you Alan and Andrea both for your splendid service to teaching me how to drive and pass with ease. I came to Alan as I'd failed to pass TWICE in the past with 3 different drivers ALL part of a large driving school (Bill Plant cough). Yeah 3 different drivers. Meaning I'd spent loads. Came to Alan. And it didn't take him long to find all the bad habits in my driving technique (his vast experience says it all really) and within a few lessons I'd immediately picked up and corrected it to proper standard. Alan had also helped me to drive outside of my comfort zone and on roads you'd think are impossible to drive on. His patience and calm delivery (and sense of humour!) added to a wonderfully smooth and fun lessons. If you're deciding to try out a very experienced school, and one that's fun too. This is it. P.S I took 3 months worth of lessons AND passed 1st time with Alan! I don't normally post reviews but this one is well deserved. So thanks Alan and Andrea!
