The most beautiful peaceful place to pray ànd just be around. I have no words to describe its beauty. Just to look at the way its been built, the architecture the beautiful grounds surrounding this place of worship i feel such warmth within my heart.. A quiet parish that is an idyllic haven set in the countryside away from the city you feel your in another world away from everyday troubles.
Such a lovely church to visit. This is were my grandparents are buried, just a shame that it is so far out the way as I would visit more often
Beautuful little friendly church. Lovely services and I go eventually every week unless other family commitments. Xx long may it stay open.xx
Very pleasant church. Shame it's church gates are locked, with no information about being able to get a key and have an interior view.
Rev Jane Platt has been so caring & supportive, whilst I organised my mothers funeral service at St Leonard’s. It was conducted with real thought, effort & compassion and it will be a lovely lasting memory.
Lovely historical church .Has a mention in Doomsday ..Was once destroyed by fire but re-built using bricks from the burnt down manor house .100 metres away behind hedging alongside the road is the remains of the most ,still full of water In a U shape . Manor house was set on fire by parliamentarians after prince Rupert stayed at the manor house on his way to Leicester during the English civil war .The churches bell is an Armada bell that was given after the defeat of the Spanish Armada under the reign of Elizabeth 1st.
Absolutely disgusted with the rude Vicar who made us leave the grounds before we could take the wedding photos. He was really horrible about it because the wedding was late and he'd booked another one afterwards but he made the wedding service really slow when he could have speeded it up.
