Had a lovely lunch with my friend and we made great choices can highly recommend the Oreo cookie milkshake and crispy butter chicken burger was delicious ...the service was great .. our order came very quickly and our waiter was very friendly and efficientFood: 5/5
Food was delicious, service was great and the food was served amazingly fast!! Only criticism please bring back the brownie sundae it was my favourite dessert.Food: 5/5
The food is overpriced and was awful. Starter came and was still frozen, I asked and they made me a new one. Main came and tasted horrid and the burger was burnt. It’s a few hours later and I now feel queasy. My partner said it was ok as he got pizza. Only redeeming factor was the staff are pleasant.
The spaghetti bolognese was all pasta and very little sauce . Laughable.Food: 1/5
Visited Frankie & Benny's last Friday, we wondered why it wasn't busy on a busy market day. No wonder the chips we had were half cooked my hot dog was that hard very unenjoyable my husband burger was warmish round the sides and cold in the middle. We did think we would complain, what's the point they don't care. For £37 it was definitely a disgusting meal. As for visiting again no way. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone food total rubbish like many places now. It used to be a thriving lovely food for your breakfast/lunch/dinner not now.
Went here a few weeks ago with a party of 10 to celebrate someone's birthday. Overall, the visit went very well, but there were some negatives: - Restaurant accidentally served a gluten-based product to a coeliac, the product was switched out swiftly but could've caused an issue. - Restaurant only honours 1 student discount, even if there are multiple students present. - Restaurant doesn't seem to allow splitting the bill. - The online ordering portal seems to lock the table number after 1 order preventing ordering to it: this doesn't bode well for those who like to order seperately. Overall though, the food is excellent though a little pricy and I can highly recommend, just maybe not with large groups. Vegetarian options: Available, see their menu for details Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on ground level Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options available, but double check before consuming.
Hello everybody that has a meal at Frankie and Benny's on the 14th of February Valentine's Day me and my partner went for a meal she has passed that I had burger and chips basically I asked for a Coke it was laced with arsenic it did not taste like coke whatsoever I tasted my partner's cork my partner's cork tasted ok mine was laced with arsenic there was trying to kill me off so I'm just let everybody know out there be aware it is not a good place to have a drink people are putting things in your drink so basically I have informed the police they are aware of it and it will be investigated so I would not be having a drink it was a young girl with blonde hair and a girl with short
A real lacklustre experience as is the way with any Frankie & Bennies. New York Italian is a great idea on paper but F&B simply does not deliver. Food was very average and service at times was a little lacking. Our drinks order was completely lost even though we were sat next to the bar. Positives Front of house welcome was good Kids menu is better than most Bar staff handled the lost order well. But the food simply isn't up to scratch. Place is in urgent need a re-think/revamp.
Probably the worst experience I've had eating out in a long time. I waited at the bar to be seated and decided to get a drink. There were 2 people behind the bar and I didn't get acknowledged. They were busy doing drinks for tables and did at least apologise for my wait. Once seated it was clear that the guy hosting at the front didn't have a clue - staff constantly approached him and the only thing he did was shrug his shoulders and look lost. A couple of parties came through the door and were turned away which was more down to the fact he couldn't cope. The food wasn't even average and I probably could have had better from a straightforward cafe. The waitress that served us did keep it together and was calm even though the place looked in chaos. I wouldn't go back!
Love this place but wish it was more affordable. The music was a bit too loud & to start with was modern, most of the reason i go is for the 50s/60s music.Food: 4/5
