Visited this lovely bookshop last week on a cold wet day. Purchased a wonderful history book displayed in the window which the owner kindly helped me with as I'm rather clumsy!
Lovely friendly experience shopping yesterday. What a great collection of books!! Well done!
Sadly the owner? didn’t wish to return our greeting when we said a friendly hello as we came in. Bookshops must be supported, but sadly the books that we were casually interested in felt a little overpriced and the manner of semi-organisation, whilst somehow considered endearing in some other bookshops, felt less enjoyable when met with no returning of pleasantries on entering. Oh well.
