First class from start to finish. Two large bays fitted as well as one large flat window. From the original quotation through survey and fitting everything was handled well. All appointments kept on time. No silly overpricing, competitive quotation. No deposit required. Fitting took three days using their own installation team. No subcontractors. Fitting team took time and care. There was some minor damage to internal decoration but this was inevitable and they did there best to repair and minimise. Windows are of an excellent quality.

Some good points but mainly bad.  I renovated an entire property and had around £25k of glass plus a front door from Framemaster so had a lot of interaction with the company to form an accurate picture about how they operate.  I could go on forever about the catalogue of problems encountered on the project, surrounding the glass, some of which I'm prepared to lay at the feet of our builder, but many others were simply down to poor management/service from Framemaster.  The issues themselves I could forgive, but I don't feel as charitable about the service in response, which mainly consisted of being totally ignored for extended periods of time at crunch points in the project. Whenever there was an issue their end which they couldn't dispute the blame was shifted onto their suppliers to absolve them of any responsibility. Although James, the company owner, frequently stated we were working together, it never felt that way as we had to go to war on every minor point.  They will inevitably reply with lines to the tune of...  'We came out multiple times...' 'You had issues that weren't our fault...' 'We went above and beyond...' etc etc  All of that might be true, but they came out multiple times and went above and beyond because they had no other choice due to obvious failings on their part.  Ultimately, they did eventually install everything for the price quoted over the course of about 6 months and the guys who came to do the work were - in general - nice enough. That is what gets them to two stars.  I was going to walk away from the whole experience and just call it quits without leaving any reviews, but when one of our windows randomly exploded last week not through something hitting it, just breaking, as confirmed by the independent emergency glazier I went to Framemaster expecting this to be covered by a warranty. We had after all paid £25,000 for glass from them not six months earlier, so I thought they may help us get this repaired given there was no outside interference and the product was simply faulty. But alas, I was told a bird had hit it and they could give me the number of someone locally who could repair it at my expense.  Gee, thanks!  This has set alarm bells ringing as it is now obvious any issues in future won't be covered by any warranty well, without seriously going to war.  So if you're contemplating a large project there's no way I can recommend Framemaster due to the issues during the works and the lack of cover afterwards.  Smaller, lower risk works you'd probably be alright.

Another great job by Framemaster, insulating the roof of a workroom, having already replaced all old windows at our house and built a conservatory. The work is always first class, with a lovely finish to all the jobs and the staff are a pleasure to have around! Highly recommended.

We bought new front door and window for the inside of our porch from Framemaster and have been fully impressed with them.  While not the biggest job they will ever win, everybody was extremely helpful - from the initial contact through to the guys who fitted it.  The quality of the work is excellent and disruption was kept to an absolute minimum but the best thing is the comments from people when they arrive. We've gone from a drab looking, easy to break from door to a stylish modern look that has added security and value to our home.

Framemaster built an orangery for us.The best builders I have ever used. I really can't understand the one star reviews that this company has had, from start to finish we found them to be professional, friendly, hard working and reliable. The job was finished on time. They came when they said they would and let me know well in advance. All the work was done to a very high standard and when Larry called when the job was finished to see if everything was ok I told him about part of the concrete floor that had crumbled slightly. Two days later I had a call from Peter and the day after John came out and repaired it. Great customer service! I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Also their price was highly competitive, far cheaper than anyone else and their quality of work was every bit as good.

During the design stage we sat down with James and he helped design the door as well as gave us some great advice. The door was well fitted & you could tell the fitter John took pride in his work. The only downfall to this company is lack of communication. They failed to call me back or update me on my order on numerous occasions. The door was competitively priced & timescales was spot on-our new door was made to order and fitted within 3 weeks.

I was so used to having someone come into my home and talk at me about windows and what my budget was it was refreshing when Larry came in and asked me what I wanted the windows to look like and didn't offer me a price on the night. I asked why and the response of “ we like to do things properly by offering a written quotation and drawings” I was already feeling more at ease. The quote as promised came through in about four days and I was over the moon with the presentation and price. I haven't had anything fitted yet but I thought this was the scariest part for a home owner inviting people into your home and not knowing how you will be treated. I will be back to review good or bad when the door and windows are fitted. Mr Godfrey

I had windows replaced with Framemaster this year.  It was a big job and I was really concerned about my extensive gardens being damaged.  I need not have worried - the friendly crew did a great job replacing the many windows and with  no damage to my gardens!!  My house looks great with the beautiful new windows that the showroom helped me choose - no drafts this winter!   Thank you Framemaster  A Hughes

Garden Room Framemaster was professional from their first visit to the completion of our Garden Room.  Their commitment was always 100%, as the extension evolved we realised that other jobs needed to be completed to ensure that all rooms flowed into the new Garden Room they helped out wherever they could. All of the trades where polite, highly skilled, tidy and punctual. The rear of our home has changed enormously and we love it.  Therefore we are more than happy to recommend Larry and his wonderful team to anyone.
