4 Seasons are responsible for Grove House Birkenhead.  They have chosen to ignore my review that I left and several emails that I sent them.  Below is my review. My family and I EXPERIENCED an awful time with social services for the last two years and our experience with Grove House has just added to it.  You can read my review on The Stein Center, this is the Corporation that Grove House work together in the interests of the Council. Totally untrustworthy, bad management, very disorganised, no people skills, work with the local authorities before the family's, cannot control the residents from going into other residents rooms and taking things.  Fabricate lies about visitors to try and prevent contact.  Bully staff members. There has never been any evidence of any activity's. This really is not a place where you want to put your loved ones in their final years. In the 9 months my mother has been resident here her mobility has deteriorated to almost zero. In the 10th month she is now at end of life care. I have witnessed several assaults by resident to resident, assaults on members of staff where the staff member IMPOSED HER WILL then grabbed and twisted an item from a residents hand, the resident felt intimidated and lashed out. There have been two separate occasions of alcohol left out in the dining room and I witnessed a resident help themselves, I had to inform a member of staff. Residents left in wheelchairs for over 40 minutes after dinner. Residents lying in their own waste for 30 minutes. Dare I say it difficult residents drugged to keep them quiet. 4 outbreaks of diarrhoea closing the unit in the last 9 months, almost 2 months to plumb running water in the dining area after upgrading the worktops and units and the place has no Air Conditioning and is uncomfortably hot. ALL UNACCEPTABLE!!!  Since experiencing this place I call for CCTV to be installed in every nursing home around the country.  Having visited my poorly father in another part of the country, he is also in EMI care. I have compared the two units, and now have serious concerns about the way Grove House is managed.  BEWARE OF THE MANAGEMENT IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND UNTRUSTWORTHY.  Do not put your loved ones in here. Finally after just 10months in this hellhole I am advised that my mother is now at end of life care?? they let my mother dehydrate and blamed it on a UTI that she had for 3-4 months??? I will be asking questions. Anyone reading this note there is no response to this review by 4 Seasons. Why not its all true? I have documented evidence. A Qualified Nurse could not even tell me what OBR meant.  FINALLY MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE ALL JEWELERY AS MY MOTHERS WENT MISSING THE NIGHT SHE DIED

My farther stayed at one of their care homes staff was always welcoming and friendly. Building was modern and kept tidy rooms were small but sufficient.

Is a absolute disgrace how the carers are run of there feet and also at times there is not enough staff to look after the elderly I would think twice about were your putting your loved ones from belfast
