Great chalet. There is plenty of room, lots of heat. Nice little kitchenette with all the necessary equipment. even had a little welcome pack of tea/coffee/sugar on arrival for the weary traveller.Rooms: 5/5
Had a quiet Hogmanay & New Year here. Great spot for exploring Glencoe, Fort William etc.
Amazing views from our semi detached chalet. That was the best bit by far. No hot water to wash dishes despite repeated attempts at advancing the heating controls as instructed. Bed was best described as uncomfortable, to be honest it was torturous. Settee in front room was another form of torture, hard to say the least. Chalet smelt of damp and crawling with spider, moths and midges. We went to the extent of burning a scented candle and spraying the room with bug spray every day for a week. Such a shame as an excellent location.
We stayed for one night in a cottage for a family that contains a double bed room and a twin single bed room. Also its have own bathroom and kitchen. It was very good and clean! Friendly staff at the pub which is also reception. A wonderful view over Lake Loch Linnhe. Pretty good prices compared to others in Scotland! We couldn't have breakfast in this pub being too busy in the next day but we solved having our own kitchen! I was glad we went through this place, thank you!
A beautiful place to stay. Amazing views, and the accommodation was very nice. There was 6 adults sharing a chalets and we all slept comfortably. The bar on site was very busy but service was excellent. The food was fabulous and offered a good variety. Exceptional value for accommodation. Much cheaper than a hotel or B&B. Would recommend them to anyone staying in the area.
We stayed for just one night whilst passing through and I'm so glad we did. We had a family room which actually consisted of one bedroom with double bed, bunk bed and single bed, bathroom and separate toilet. The hall way was big enough to hang all our coats and line up all of our shoes. There was communal drying room, we did not need this facility but i'm sure it would be very important to some! The restaurant was quite basic but everyone enjoyed their meals and desert. We had breakfast in the morning too, which was a little disappointing with lack of choice but none the less everyone was well fed. Overall a good nights sleep and I would stay here again. Absolutely beautiful surroundings!
A group of us stayed here for a recent expedition and it was perfect for our needs. The Chalets were basic but just what we wanted and it's nice to not be paying for any extra frills that you don't need. The bar had a good range of whiskies and were very accommodating to our group for ad hoc dinners.
We stayed in Chalet 9 which was a detached bungalow set up with 2 bedrooms 1 double & 1 twin and a sitting room and small well equipped kitchen. The accommodation is dated but cosy. Bring your own shower gel and shampoo. The views are very nice. Wifi is available but the signal is extremely weak in the chalet. Thankfully, my mobile data signal Three was strong here. The pub on site offers nice food at reasonable prices. The pub's wifi signal is strong though. Parking is free. It serves as a good base for Fort William approximately 20 minutes drive. There are local walks to a lovely waterfall with fantastic views.
Paid for a twin bed room, when we arrived we had been upgraded to a two bed chalet. It was fantastic, clean and supplied with everything we needed. There was a lot of information of places to go and things to do and the staff are very friendly.
Cheap and cheerful, stayed for a couple of nights in the self catered lodges and it was a great base camp to explore from, with a lovely view over breakfast. Don't forget the midge spray mind...
