Great place for a bite to eat, to celebrate friendship or catch up with family. Dogs, small babies and loud happy people are welcome here. We were served by Lydia who was very professional, attentive and friendly. At the end of her shift we were served by Maria who continued with the same level of customer service. We sampled fish pie, burgers, Stix and desserts. The portions are a good size, food was very tasty, the atmosphere is great. The staff go over and above to ensure all customers have a great time. Would definitely recommend and return again to sample more dishes.
We had a lovely evening meal the other Friday. It was super busy but the food still came out promptly. The food was very tasty and the dish sizes were good. George our server was attentive and polite and overall we had a lovely experience. Parking was a little challenging as the car park is small, took a while to find a space as it was so busy. Other than that we had a great experience.
Yes this place has had an amazing refurbishment. Worth doing as now they have clearly turned this into the place to go in Sutton. We had brunch and it was delicious. Small criticism was it could have been more substantial for a brunch. We were starving so we had two courses! Just lovely. Nice big pot of Earl Grey tea. Service is good and the tip is 10% on the bill. Remember to log your car reg on entry. Nothing seems too much. Nice touch adding the cocktail bar inside/out at the back. Prices there look about right. They have a beautiful area that seats 14 inside which looks perfect for larger groups. Wel done this place is 5*
The atmosphere from the start to the end was cozy, warm. The place decorated for Christmas and not too loud. The waitress was nice and she checked back. The restaurant and pub was clean and tidy considering it was open for dogs. The main meal and dessert was lovely and good value for the quality of food given. Overall I would give it a 10. Georgia provided excellent customer service.
Perfect Monday Afternoon, finally got time to visit since the refurbishment. Absolutely delicious, love everything I had. Definitely will be back to visit to try more dishes….
First foot inside since the refurb, and our initial impression was Wow! Whoever is responsible for the new layout and décor deserves a large pat on their back. Had a little walk around before finally picking a cosy table - so hard to choose as the whole interior is stunning. You almost expect some aspect to let it down. Certainly not the case, as the service from the ladies was top notch, as was the brunch which was the reason for our visit. The bacon sarnie on thick cut farm bread and the crumpets that we shared were simply scrumptious. All washed down with flat whites, which although excellent, were let down by the lack of our usual favoured oat milk. That aside, we will be adding this to our regular list and highly recommend - just get some oat milk in as we can't be the only customers who prefer it to almond.
Ambience: Beautiful inside and well organized restaurant space Food: my god! Where do I start?! The food was uhhhh-mazing! It came with a complimentary bread with the best butter I’ve ever had. Food was timely, well prepared, tasty and literally took me to cloud nine! Service: the waiters are very pleasant, attentive and quick to respond. Great place for lunch or dinner! Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. We got a burger and the Caesar salad, along with drinks. Quick service and good quality. Definitely recommended!
My husband and I went for dinner on Saturday and the food and drinks were great along with the atmosphere and settings. There was not a single thing we could fault. The service was outstanding, our waitress Maria was the best. She was very friendly and ensured we were happy with everything throughout our time. She remembered our order and made sure everything was correct. She was definitely the icing on the cake and the reason why we will be returning and hopefully seating in her section again
Sunday dinner was amazing! Beef melted in the mouth and it was nice to get roasted veg which you don’t really get anywhere else. It was busy but service still efficient. Our waitress Sarah was friendly and had answers to all our questions. Will be back soon to try the recommended rib sharer! Thanks
