First time I have been there, and no notice or instructions on the messages or emails recieved to remind you of your appointment. Please take note. No notices to take stairs or lift to the floor required., once you go through the front door, If there was a sign, it must be very small and obviously not in the correct place to be seen. The receptionist was offish as it made me late on arrival, saying we will see if the nurse agrees to see you now, or you will have to re book. NICE !!!! So, you're not feeling your best, that's why you're there in the first place, and you get a very rude, know it all receptionist who thinks, I'm in charge, beem me up snotty attitude. That's going to make you feel much better and glad to be alive. NOT !!! People like her should not be in a job greeting patience, if all they do is bully. Thank God I don't have to go there. She had dark hair in a pony tail. Whoever you are, People are not beneath you. We are all human. I hope you become a better person, for not only your sake, but for the rest of the patients that attend the medical centre. Try having patience for the patients. The rest of the team were absolutely amazing Thank you to them.
I have just had a consultation at Four Oaks Medical Centre. I was surprised and impressed that I could book online and get an appointment with a named GP almost straightaway. The online appointments system is a welcome addition to the booking process and in my experience is working very well. A relief I am sure for the Receptionists and Doctors alike. Thank you.
I can only add one more to those negative reviews. I'm just shocked with what just happened. My 9 years old has had a high fever 39-39.5 for last 6 days, so stubborn that we had to give her paracetamol and ibuprofen at the same time. They say on NHS website see a GP if fever is more than 3 days, well it's been 6 days and the only thing they could offer when I called at 8:00 was to see a nurse! Appalling! I come from Poland, a country where the healthcare spend is half of what it is in the UK and I would NEVER be refused to see a doctor for a child who has had such high fever for 6 days.
Very helpful and lovely staff, Aimee Davis is my angel there. She is very nice. I am very happy with my Medical centre and my doctor Dr. Hussain is amazing too.
This surgery has gone downhill the last few years they keep changing the policies and expecting everyone to know without any communication.nThere is no one to speak to around work if you have a general enquiry or a prescription query. I ordered my medicine so I could have this on time but this still isn't sorted so now I don't have the medication I need. I haven't seen a doctor in years because I can never get an appointment even at 8am they are full for the day. No point even having a surgery local to home as they send you wherever they want to anyway.
