The staff are friendly but the service is shocking. The queue times are getting longer. Last time I was in there, everyone before me had an issue with their medication. They were told to source it elsewhere or they would need to wait for it to be ordered in. I was told the same, when I said I would wait for it to be ordered, I was told that they were having problems with their deliveries and orders so it wasn’t guaranteed they would be able to get the items I required anyway. So I ended up having to take the prescription away. The pharmacy is just an unnecessary obstacle in people getting the medication they need. Save time and ask for your prescription to be sent to another location, one with the actual ability source the required medications.
They always do their best to be helpful and supportive - the only issue they have is using locum Pharmacists meaning you don’t build any familiarity with them and neither do the regular staff.nnIt’s also worth knowing that sometimes they close for an hour at lunchtime depending on which pharmacist is working there on that day. They are also very busy towards the end of the day with queues going out of the door.
Lovely to share a very positive experience at Four Marks Pharmacy.nThere is a new pharmacist who has recently been sent in to try and turn things around. We wandered in as my daughter has been feeling unwell and we were hoping to chat to someone who could point us in the right direction of what to buy. Out came Satpreet who sat her down and gave her a full consultation. Incredibly professional, Satpreet was a breathe of fresh air and with him in charge I hope the pharmacy goes from strength to strength. Thank you Satpreet and good luck!
Literally the worst service imaginable. The wait time to be served has got worse and worse and although I can appreciate the staff are busy my last visit took the biscuit when those of us waiting patiently were shouted at by the staff member when we queried the wait time. We were told that she wasn’t flipping burgers and to just wait! When I pointed out that their sign asked for respect and we would appreciate being spoken to with equal respect, she stormed out leaving the poor locum pharmacist on his own. I will no longer collect my prescription from this pharmacy. Sorry local pharmacy, I’m off to Boots for some efficiency!
First of all, the counter staff are helpful, but there seems to be organisational issues at the top. It doesn't matter how far ahead you request a repeat prescription, they always seem to put it together when you call to collect. If the pharmacist is busy in consultation with a patient, you have wait even longer, causing a long queue. I've used this pharmacy for about 15 years, but it's got worse recently - I don't live in Four Marks, but felt I wanted to help the small guy. Silly me - I'm going to use Boots in Alton in future.
