We had a wonderful meal here for my partner's birthday! The views were great, service was excellent, and the food was outstanding! I had the steak which was honestly one of the best I've ever had. Menu was a little pricey so it's not an everyday restaurant, but for special occasions I thought it was very good. Wouldn't hesitate to come again.
Went to Fourteen for Sunday Lunch. We tried the Sunday Roasts, Vegetarian Pie and Smoked Haddock Fishcakes. The food overall was pretty average, there’s a lot of room for improvement. The desserts however were enjoyable, the Chocolate and Orange Trifle tasted exactly like Jaffa Cakes which I loved!. The service was exceptional, and the views of Campbell Park, Willen Lake etc from the restaurant are amazing. The views from the other side, which overlooks the city centre, however, aren’t quite so calming. Note: if you would like to sit on a table by the window, make sure to request this at the time of booking.
The sky bar looks amazing. Bright, modern and spacious with amazing views. It has a real London vibe. The service was fantastic. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Even the dining service was pretty and modern. The food itself was great too. We had afternoon tea and the choice of sandwiches was very tasty. The scones and cakes/pastries were also delicious. A huge pot of various teas or coffee of your choice. My only minor let down was the cream for the scones. Although it was delicious it wasn't traditional clotted cream. I'm a big fan of a cream tea.
Nice restaurant, with wonderful views of Milton Keynes. Very clean. Used as we were staying in the hotel. Very limited menu and expensive, but its a hotel restaurant and I personally expected this so for me that was fine. Cocktails are very good.
Amazing restaurant. Food was great, if a little pricy. But worth it for the views and atmosphere. I would thoroughly recommend a visit. You can see Milton Keynes and beyond. As long as it's a clear day. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.
Visited the place for my birthday. The views are beautiful for Milton Keynes : . The food was really really lovely. The drinks were great too, we had a few with dinner and then in the bar area too. Service with food was quick but a little bit slow with drinks. As this is a new place, I understand that staff are new too and still in training. They were very polite and attentive though maybe even too much : They we’re coming up to ask how things are too often and too quickly after bringing the food out : A great new spot in MK though, will go back!
Great views, fair prices for fine cuisine, good quality. Service is very friendly and helpful. A must in MK at least once.
Lovely views and the food was nice, Eton Mess however was disappointing - firstly it wasn't a mess and lacked real flavour, the meringue could use some improvement. In terms of the service, the girls were polite enough however I was so disappointed that they were clearing the plates before the whole table had finished this happened at every course. It just makes you feel pressured and is a big turn no for me.
Overall the hotel its modern and well designed, however once past the lift, on floor 14, you enter an empty room with a weired looking bench in the middle and 4 banquet style poseur tables, it doesn't give a great first impression. The service was excellent, I couldn't fault it, the staff were extremely joyful and always available! The menu Sunday À La Carte is somewhat limited, in terms of creativity and execution, especially the starters. My Sunday Roast was cold and well done! There was plenty of veg and horseradish to compliment the dish, however most dishes had aniseed flavour, not my cup of tea! There is discrepancy between menu and the till, resulting in overcharging! I would not rush to return!
First time we have been here. The food looked amazing and the service from the staff was excellent. Well worth a visit, even if just for a drink.Food: 5/5
