I’ll start by saying the staff were nice. The breakfast can only be described as shocking in presentation and taste my partners grilled tomatoes and avocado on toast the same. We paid £9.60 for the breakfast and £9 for the other dish. I’ve uploaded pictures of what they thought was acceptable. Lacklustre breakfast stodgy beans with cold mushrooms cold underdone tomatoes and a undercooked hash brown. It literally looked like they had thrown it on the plate. Obviously whoever is in the kitchen needs to think about changing there job because the food was cold and the presentation horrendous Very very expensive and for what! Utter rubbish. The only reason I didn’t give you one star was the fact you cooked me a new breakfast which to be fair was ok. I would advice you to leave your hash browns in the fryer longer so they are cooked and make sure you send out hot mushrooms and cooked tomato. I don’t understand why anybody would plate up your dishes like you did ours it was shocking to say the least
Absolutely love this Coffee shop, the food is always on point, especially the grilled tomato, avocado and mushroom toast!! Worth every penny! The coffees are incredible too and offer a range of different milks:
Stumbled across this lovely local coffee shop during the 2020 lockdown while out cycling and have continued to use. The staff are friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. They do breakfast, lunch, beautiful homemade cakes. They are also supplied by a local bakery so have a variety of breads, crossiants etc as well as local eggs. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Average.......staff were polite but slow, we ended up waiting near 15 minutes to get served, and it wasn't even that busy. Coffee was overpriced for the size, and a bit bland.Food: 2/5

Arrived with very little welcome, table not cleaned Awful service ordered bacon sandwich and a cooked breakfast. Breakfast was awful. Meat was tough Hash brown not cooked! Will not be going back
Nice selection of cakes and coffee. Food is also served but I've only had cakes and coffee so I can't comment too much but patrons seem happy. There are a few tables outside as well as the usual ones inside so generally not a problem to get a table. For the area the price is very reasonable.
Wonderful experience, excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. Food cooked to perfection and very reasonable priced. I would highly recommend this family friendly restaurant.
I ordered a full English breakfast £9. I declined the black pudding and mushrooms. Devils food. One rasher of bacon, one sausage baked beans, hash brown and one slice of toast. Asked for brown toast received white. Egg missing as it wasn’t cooked. It arrived 3 minutes after the previous breakfast components. Tea not included. Breakfast not hot egg warm. Having just traveled for over an hour I looked forward to this breakfast. Dissatisfaction room 101. A very expensive warm disjointed breakfast. Not recommend.
Fountains is a very friendly local coffee shop with welcoming staff. The coffee is great and there is a good selection of warm food and cakes. A lot of the options on the menu are sourced locally meaning that there is always something different to try. Also a great place for cyclists to stop off mid ride you'll normally see some bikes parked up outside. A few professional complainers have given it a one or two star review - don't be put off. The type of coffee shop every town should have. Vegetarian options: Various veggie options available and if its not on the menu just ask.
