A place worth visiting. Very large selection of teas and coffees. There is also ice cream for children. There was quite a queue and we waited about 30 minutes for a table. Chocolate cake very tasty. Prices as they are in London.
Christmas and festive seasons all wrapped up in a store. You can easily pass time here with lots of displays, typical department store products and brands, including the fortnum own brand. Try their biscuits, excellent and great gifts.

I've been here for lunch quite a few times now and am rather fond of it. It has quite a different atmosphere to some of the other places to eat in Fortnum's - many of which are more geared to afternoon tea, and therefore tend to be more of a draw to tourists and one off visitors. The Fountain restaurant on the other hand - at least whenever I've been here - gives the impression that many of the other customers are long time regulars, the sort of people whose families have been coming here for generations. There's a wonderfully refined atmosphere to the Fountain restaurant, which I think must be more to do with the clientele than the staff, as frankly the service can be a bit hit and miss. Which somehow doesn't seem to matter - I've always had a very pleasant time here even when I've been landed with a slightly brusque waitress. The menu changes now and again, and maybe I've just been lucky, but I've always found surprisingly good vegetarian options here, and it's the sort of place where Champagne always feels very de rigeur. It's expensive, of course, but something about the ambience of the place is quite unique, and I for one think it's well worth the money.
Totally in love with this place. From cakes to coffee, just a beautiful venue! Make sure you stop here before going in to the shop!
A must for any established British person. Definitely somewhere to go for tourists who want quality and to experience a traditional British foods.
