Absolutely terrible disgusting! I always order chinese. But this was my first and last order from fortune gardens. It had a hair in one of the dishes ok chicken, all tasted old dry and non of the dishes were same as other restaurants. I politely rang to ask them for a refund and they became very aggressive and hung up on me so i contacted Just eat. They said the takeaway will come and collect the food, which they did but then refused to refund my £30.10 after they had taken all the food back so just eat had to contact them again. I wouldn't recommend eating from here to anyone. Im not the kind of person to leave reviews but this was so bad and then the way they reacted I just had to.
Worst Chinese I've ever had. If you're planning on treating yourself to a takeaway tonight, avoid this place like the plague. Or better yet treat yourself to some 59p supernoodles from a supermarket. We ordered noodles along with other foods and received a block of dry noodles, uncooked. Went back and asked to exchange they happily did but refused to admit it was an accident and tried to fob me off that they were even edible. Wouldn't feed this food to my dog. Atrocious.service and food.
Family owned and run Chinese takeaway, with fast service and friendly staff. Certainly can't judge a book by its cover with this place; the tiny ordering area is an untidy explosion of money and spider plants and an unloved preloved sofa. But the Singapore Vermicelli which comes with a fried egg on top, as you do is ordered at least fortnightly in our house.
I wish I could make this zero stars. Due to being busy they rejected our just eat order, which was more than our normal food budget for an entire week! On a very special day for me and my partner. This took almost all the money I had in my bank to pay for. Upon calling to find why they had rejected the order we were first confronted with a rude Chinese man who we couldn’t understand as he was talking so loudly it was just distorting the microphone, and then transferred to someone who knew how to talk on a phone we found they’d rejected it as they were “too busy”! This left us with no money to order another meal as it would take 2-3 business days to return the money. The customer service is atrocious here I’d advise strongly against not ordering from them as they’re unwilling to do anything to remedy such situations and could ruin your evening too.
I ordered for the first and last time at this, I hesitate to say food outlet, what I received could never be described as food. It was old reheated dried out garbage. And on receiving my complaint the staff became arrogant, rude and then aggressive, refusing to give me either fresh food or a refund. So as I sit here starving with my now cold, old, reheated many times food I would advise to give this takeaway a very wide berth.
Fast delivery from JustEat. Chips and curry is really nice as is the vegetarian chow mein. Not many Chinese takeaways do good veggie food so I'd definitely recommend.
Absolutely disgusting never tasted such disgusting food before!!! An the rudest manager/owner I've ever come across! Absolutle vile woman being aggressive down the phone complete waste of 30.00 wouldn't even be worthy enough for my dog. Don't understand how this company is still going!! Do not waste your time and money hear ! Asda's would be nicer!
Fantastic Chinese takeaway and the son dad and mum are very friendly. We visit once every few weeks the food is good, service is good and prices are good.
Worst Chinese we ever had... satay sauce was was absolutely unedible, boiled rice was swee and over cooked. Avoid at any cost!
First time user. Tried to find a decent Chinese, think we have found it. Great food and delivery time Will be calling again
