Story

Myself (Janet) and my partner Russell have spent the best part of this year renovating and creating a bright, airy and friendly cafe in Fortrose to suit all age groups. We have a fully kitted out disabled toilet. The cafe is wheelchair friendly. For the kiddywinkles we have a selection of toys to keep them amused, leaving mums and dads peace to enjoy the fabulous freshly ground coffee, range of teas and food on offer. Our menu includes breakfasts, snacks, lunches, selection of cakes (plus gluten free) and hot pies.

Busy little place at the time I visited and the log burner was an added bonus on a cold day like today. Menu had a fair variety of snacks and meals. First time I had tried vanilla flavoured shortbread but would have avoided it had I realised as I personally don't like vanilla. Coconut jam tarts were lovely and prices were as expected for a wee village with little competition
