One of my local chipper spots. Can't talk for the full menu but their chips and battered sausage are great. Actually bought a bottle of their house vinegar to get that authentic chipper taste. Prices are grand and the staff at relatively friendly, would be great if they could finally fix that cash machine though
Without doubt the worst fish n chips I’ve ever eaten in my life. The fish was frozen and processed. Just a slab of minced fish. Couldn’t even eat it. Chips were possibly passable if they hadn’t sweated in the bag smelling like old oil. You couldn’t even buy a piece of battered fish that bad in most supermarkets. Awful.
Meal deal for 10 euros..very good but I got approximately 12 chips in my chip bag. AVOID Tried again tonight...precicly 24 chips for 3.50... 14cent per chip....like.come on... Avoid.

I've been going here for years, compared to the other chippers in the general area, I think this one is the best. The quality of the pizza is much higher than that of the other chippers and the chips are always fresh and less greasy. Prices are good and the staff have always been friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Best chicken kebabs going, not mad about the doner kebab here but the chicken one is fabulous, unreal. I get it with cheese and sauce no veg and as someone else already mentioned in the comment section, they don't over fill the kebab, just enough to enjoy and not make a mess. cheap aswel, like reasonable. Best Take - Away in Dublin, honestly. La signora Dora is a lady - and her lovely team. Very clean. I've only ever order the same foods: Chicken -kebab & chips their chicken kebabs are THEE best in D6 anyway, Why?.... It's that secret sauce, coupled with all the other toppings- a really lovely coleslaw mix. The chicken is never greasy, & always a decent ' Breast' chopped consistently into dices - the kebab isn't over - loaded and impossible to eat- I hate when u get that in some places!!! Love their chips, en- paar with their Italian friends.... In Rathmines. On the main street. Burdocks. Signora Forte is a lady, and everyone in Rathgar loves & respects her, quiet and dignified way she holds herself despite the tragedies she has endured in recent years Always smiling... ' Ciao Catherina' . Her staff aren't bad either!!. Very professional, and consistently good food served. Great 1/4 pounder aswell. Proper 100% pure Irish beef. Yum, but I'm more a kebab girl... Forte's is at the heart of Rathgar, And many villagers still talk of Tony Signor Forte & their son Dominic who passed away about 5 years back. The villagers miss them & I often think of them both when passing ' Fortes' takeaway. The staff ar so polite, friendly professional & refined. The menu is extensive - believe there is something to suit everyones tastes in 'Fortes Takeaway. They do lovely fresh fish and pizza aswell. I have never tried either but the fish especially looks good.. - You can see all foods while it's being prepared and the premises is always spotless. One can dial in their order and they'll have it ready for collection within usually 15-20mins.. Grande 'Forte' Sei Dovessi rendete visita a Rathgar, Dublin 6. Chips aren't chipper chips and the vinegar is mediocre and it's expensive for a chipper, in my opinion. But honestly you should go supervalu cheaper and nicer food.
