I was referred to FMK through my work, following a random back spasm whilst I was on a job. The spasm continued to worsen to the point where I couldn't walk. After a few weeks, it eased enough for me to go to physio therapy. I had four sessions with Lisa over about a month where she expertly assessed my injury, how it had impacted my movement capabilities and how it was caused. She provided physical treatment through massage, ultrasound and cooling gels and also created a gentle exercise plan to help the muscles in my back ease off and strengthen. She explained what she was doing and why my back was hurting where it did. I am now doing much better and have a better understanding of how to prevent the spasm re-occurring. I would gladly return for their help should I ever need it. Highly recommend.
Initially attended for pain within my shoulder. It was quickly identified that I would need an MRI to fully identify the issue as treatment was unfortunately having no impact. FMK wrote a full in-depth letter to my GP advising of treatments carried out and what was needed as next steps. Through the MRI it was identified that I had a S.L.A.P tear in my shoulder. Thankfully early on due to FMKs expertise. After surgery I again visited FMK to start my 4 month rehab. I was provided with an in depth rehab plan and all the support/patience to get my shoulder back to full mobility and strength. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks to Lisa, Caroline and Ellis.
I contacted FMK following a back injury I was seen that very day given a full examination and assessment. It was decided that my GP would need to be advised. I have no doubt that the quick action of Caroline resulted in a GP appointment within the week and an MRI being requested. All of which has allowed the recovery process to begin quicker than might have been the case. I am great full to Caroline and the FMK team for all that they have done, their interest in my recovery and ongoing treatment.
Massive shout out to Rosie. Had my first Sports Massage today, and couldn't recommend her highly enough. Highly knowledgeable, super friendly, extremely passionate about her job. I already have better mobility in my shoulder, and Rosie was able to point out other areas where my muscles were all knotted up. Top marks from me
I have recently had Bursitis in my hip and was in a lot of pain and with very limited mobility for months After only a few sessions of treatment at FMK with Lisa and Artur I started to see lots of improvement. Pain levels are almost gone and mobility improved have been able to back to training at the gym. So can't thank the team at FMK enough for their help.
Cannot praise Lisa enough. After being to 3 different people to try and sort the issue previously I am now pain free. After one session most of the pain had eased off considerably. She also made me feel very comfortable and safe. I was nervous of acupuncture but she also helped me get over that and I don’t mind it at all now. After only 2 sessions I was pain free and a third follow up eased off some tension I was still having. This was over a year of being in pain all day every day and I cannot thank her enough.
Arm Very thorough pre assessment in a relaxed atmosphere. Thorough examination of problem area. Exercises discussed and practiced in the clinic. Sent home with a complete exercise programme sent by email as well as some elastic bands to carry out the exercises. Risk assessment on bands explained. Gentle to more advanced. Plan of action put in place included acupuncture - explained well Ultra sound explained well too Follow up appointments were timely. Wrist Same as above. I wish to thank Lisa and her team for their professional advice and treatment which has been fabulous. Gone from being unable to move arm to full use. Wrist is a long-standing injury and to date the treatment is working well. Thank you to Lisa and her team.
It is always enjoyable to go to FMK Physiotherapy. Lisa and the team are such a pleasure to deal with, so pleasant and professional. Lisa's treatment for my son, Alex age 12 has been excellent and she interacts with him so well. Alex looks forward to going. I have recently received treatment from Lisa myself and this has also been excellent. The actual clinic is so welcoming, spotlessly clean and bright and plenty parking. I would highly recommend FMK Physiotherapy on all levels.
I was recommended FMK from a friend who was undergoing treatment already. I didn’t choose a therapist but was placed in the safe hands of Ellis. I had pain in my arm, neck and shoulder on my right hand side. The pain was dull and throbbing and I could feel it in everything I was doing, I was unable to lift my arm up high. I had 5 sessions with Ellis and each was great. Ellis is a lovely boy who makes you feel comfortable and is great at what he does. He helped me massively by giving me exercises to do to help the pain, and I no longer have any pain in my neck, shoulder or arm. This has allowed me to go back to the gym and no longer needed physiotherapy to help! I will however come back and get a sports massage when I need it from Ellis! All the staff that I came across at FMK were lovely and accommodating, and the venue itself is a lovely place. Thank you again! X
Great service here whilst receiving treatment for a knee injury. Lisa is always friendly, professional and knowledgeable and has not only helped to heal my injury but has also given me strengthening exercises and stretches to help prevent this reoccurring. I would have no hesitation in recommending FMK Physiotherapy.
