A great place in Sandwell to bring children of all ages. As well as feeding the sheep and goats there are many animals to see on the farm trail cows, horses, pigs, chickens, etc. As of August 2024 a new indoor play area has been opened inside a newly constructed barn. Kids have a one hour session for £3 each in addition to the normal entry fee and it is suitable for children between 2 and 14. The barn will also have a new cafe but this will only be opened later in 2024. During the current 2024 summer holidays there is also an opportunity to go on a tractor ride for £2 per person, children or adults, for certain times of the day. They also often have events through the year including pumpkin picking with a great pumpkin patch and lots of Halloween and pumpkin related props which is great for children to take pictures with. As of August 2024 the standard admission fee is £5.50 for adults, £6.50 for children aged between 2 and 14 and under 2’s go free. The price of animal feed is £1.50. The cost of parking is 40p per hour in the car park.
This is a lovely farm to visit with little ones - it’s hard to believe you’re so close to the city here. Entry fees are really reasonable and the team are friendly. They have a good variety of farm animals and petting / feeding opportunities too. There’s a play area and often they host seasonal activities and a new indoor play area is under construction too. One note is that you do have to pay for parking - the machine takes cash only but you can pay via the app but signal might be tricky to get hold of to download it
Whilst it was a hot and busy day, being the middle of the six weeks holidays, there were plenty of helpful staff and volunteers around and the whole farm was a calm and enjoyable place to be. The hand washing areas were well stocked and all kept tidy too. There was no litter to be seen anywhere. We used the new play barn which my 6 year old absolutely loved just as much as the 7 and 3 year old that were also in our party. It was definitely good value for money and tbh would be worth going back for. They also loved climbing and jumping on the hay bales just as much. The farming activities set up were brilliant and our group loved "cleaning out the pigs" Very successful visit. The chick encounter was wonderful and the young man was so good with the children. The animals all appear to be happy and well looked after.
Visited on a Thursday afternoon. With it being a school day it was nice and quiet. Me and my 3 year old son had a lovely day here ALLHUMDULILLA it was a nice Sunny day. Farm is a decent size and very spacious. Animals are kept really well in a sense of cleanliness. Very reasonable prices for entry £10 for me and my son. They have goats,alpaca,cows,horses, sheep & chickens. Can purchase animal feed which is a pound a pack recommend to purchase it we feed most of the animals. Had a little shop and children's play area aswell. Overall nice few hours spent here
It's a fantastic place for kids and definitely worth a visit. There are many animals like sheep, goats, chickens, pigs, and cows, and kids can feed them. The entry fee is around £4.50, and small food bags for the animals cost £1.50 each. A farm visit typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Next to the farm, there's a lovely park where you can enjoy a pleasant walk amidst beautiful nature. Don't forget to bring some food, as there are picnic areas outside. While you can buy some biscuits and sandwiches there, the selection is limited.
Lovely, family friendly place to visit. The animals are well cared for and the staff are lovely. There's so much to do and everything is reasonably priced. A great day out
This farm is pure magic. I went today for the first time, and I didn’t want to leave. All the staff were so friendly and would happily answer any questions we had and were so informative. It was a delight to watch, stroke and have photos with all the animals but the sheep and lambs were so funny to watch. The shop was lovely and had nice hot drinks to buy. There were plenty of hand washing stations to use after touching the animals. My only criticism was that the hand wash stations did not have anything to dry your hands with. The paper towel holders need monitoring to make sure they never run low or out. I can’t wait to return and there are plans to build a cafe and extend the shop. I am still smiling from my visit today.
We love this farm pass great day with kids , we feed the animals around the farm watch the Shepherd Dog show and the Sheep shearing technique was amazing, there’s small play ground kids enjoy it at the end of our visit
Reel nice place to take the kids ,feed the animals and nice relaxing areas and a big play area for the kids, well worth a visit
