I recently visited this Loch with my daughter and 3 grandsons. I am disabled and I used a motorised scooter. We all walked around the Loch. It was very peaceful and it has numerous places to stop and enjoy a picnic. There is also a play park at the start/end of the walk depending which way you start your walk. It is 2.5 miles
I was actually doing a job at a house near to the loch, but I give it five stars because I have caught a few big pike there, and it's also a good place to walk the dogs.
It's a nice country park. It is approximately 3 miles to walk all the way around it. Perfect for dogs. The loch has swans, geese and ducks. There are also playgrounds for kids, outside gyms and even public mini golf.
This is a beautiful local path around the natural forfar loch. Great for kids,joggers dog walks and cycling. There is also a yacht club and fishing.
A pleasant enough park though nothing particularly special in the grand scheme of things. The circular walk around the Loch is flat and consists of a good quality path that is suitable for most large pushchairs. Dog walkers and joggers stand to gain the most from this place there are three outdoors gyms around it's perimeter and seem to make up the majority of its visitors.
