I would have to agree with the previous comment. I don’t believe forestdale to care at all about the child and instead about the best players and how they can make money. When my sons were asked to join they had so much fun. I thought football for children was meant to be fun and they were meant to be encouraged and grow! Instead one of my sons completely lost interest this season after constantly feeling he wasn’t good enough, constant comparisons to other players and being subbed non stop. He was also allowed to hear other parents moaning about the children who weren’t as good as theirs being allowed to play at certain short intervals! My other son who is 8 was told half way through the season he would be moving to a different team and began training with them only to be dropped from the club at trials. My oldest son who’s team won the season was told in trails what team he would be playing for but then I received a message to tell me that he too was dropped! After years of paying for 3 boys to play for the team and weekly training you would expect progression. In the trials it seems the coaches are extremely biased and put everything into the main players of the club. Its very sad how my sons were treated especially the 2 that had no idea that they were being dropped and had been told they would be playing for teams! When I spoke to a coach about this he really didn’t seem to care! Very sad how as the club has changednnThe parents are lovely and shout out to mimi who puts so much into the club!! And Hannah has been both been a great help during the boys time at the club. Also coach Wayne who was so supportive and encouraging towards my son
Very good pitches for regular league matches. Ample car parking. The hut that sells alcohol and soft drinks urgently needs refurbishing which would then create a better experience.
They do not have the interest of child and parent even though they claim to. Show no respect and love for a child and do not support a child's development. Just interested in money rather than the players growth. Club to avoid.
Great pitches for youth football training!nForestdale FC is a great club run by professional coaches and passionate people. Children come first there!
Such an amazing club! Coach Matthew and Coach Nathaniel really challenge my boys. Engaged from start to finish, they all enjoy the sessions. Every session is creatively planned with lots of fun drills and game time. The location is fantastic, great facilities and value.
