A brilliant place to eat with a Mediterranean menu. There are a great choice of drinks to be had also including Estrella and Amstel. There is a very good choice of starters and main courses too. There is a dessert and coffee menu available. The staff are very friendly and helpful to all. The food is of very good quality and there is also offers to be had if you join there mailing list. There are also set menus available on a Monday you get 2 courses for 17.95 which is brilliant value. There is also a prix fix menu available too. Highly recommended for a visit
Lovely stylish restaurant, very warm and welcoming staff. Issabelle was our waitress last night 13 Feb 2023...what a friendly and polite girl! A great selection of meals, unlike many restaurants now who have no imagination and only sell junk food...Burgers, Chips, etc; I had Braised steak and my wife had Sea Bass 2 pieces!, both meals were really well presented. Prices are reasonable. The managment really care about their customers, and that's so important... but so over looked in most restaurants today. We would recommend this restaurant and it's 5 Stars from us. These are the meals we had last night!
A great mediterranean menu with plenty to choose from. First time visiting so wasn't sure what to order from here but i went for the Moroccan Lamb, i wasn't disappointed one bit, the lamb was lovely and tender, all the flavours went really well together and I'd definitely have this dish again. For pudding i had the creme brulee and that was divine. If you have not been in here I highly recommend.
Can't fault the meal we had here, the gluten free menu is superb and delicious, waitress was knowledgable about coeliac disease. The mushroom starter was really great, Steak was nice, and the chocolate brownie was SUPERB Really.. it was BEAUTIFUL. THANKYOU!!!!!!
Had the vegan nut roast this afternoon and wow!!! It did not disappoint and certainly exceeded my expectations really filling and so tasty. Garlic mushrooms to start are divine also. Staff were sooo lovely, I wish I got her name but I THINK it was Lauren or Hannah who served us - big thanks for our whole table. Been here a couple of times now and it really is a lovely place to eat. Only issue was that it was so chilly in there! But they did have portable heaters so I assume their was a problem with their heating! Will be back!
Went to Ego on Saturday 25 June. This was my brothers idea for my birthday tea, as whenever I've driven passed Ego, I've always been a bit wary of it due to the very bold colour the outside has been painted! I am soooo glad we went though. I had the mixte paella sceeerumptious! Squid was cooked to perfection. My sister in law had linguine, youngest nephew, had sea bass not as good as Dad's, apparently, but looked amazing to me, as the skin was nice and crispy. The other nephew had steak. And my wonderful brother had the pork. We were all very pleased with everything, except my brother, whose portion size apparently was very small and unfortunately I cannot say otherwise as I didn't really see it. The staff were all lovely. Our waitress found out it's my birthday, so my pudding chocolate and caramel tart was decorated differently to the norm. Thanks for that everyone. It was a lovely and much appreciated surprise. The only 'complaint' about pudding, came from my 6 year old nephew, who stated that the chocolate bowl in his children's sundae tasted like 'kitchen chocolate'! It was dark chocolate! Bless him! Love him to bits and pieces! A fab time had by all: especially the birthday girl me!. Thanks to all the staff there that night.
Thank you staff and management at the New Years Eve Party 2022/23. Our waitress, Natalie was great - attentive, polite, served us with a smile and looked after us so well. The rest of the staff were all very happy, helpful and polite. They went out if their way to make sure the evening was a pleasurable experience. Add to this mixture a great menu and tasty food and you’ve got the perfect combination. Well done everyone at Ego in Bromsgrove.
Thank you so much Ego. To Abigail and her team on Thursday 10th November. Thank you so much for a lovely evening. Your service and food was second to none. We had a shakey start with Ego, having come on a previous occasion and received surprisingly disappointing food and service, we were offered a replacement experience free. The whole team couldn't have been more apologetic and the experience we had was fabulous. Can't wait to return. Great job Ego, we'd really recommend you! And thanks. Went as a group booking for a family event. The other half waived the menu at me weeks before we went. It looked interesting. Not the normal kind of place I'd go. I like hearty food and have a fair appetite but it looked like it could be quite good. With averages prices for main meals around £17 and starters and puddings around £7.50 I was expecting something with a bit of wow. Sadly its was more oh. Don't get me wrong the food was nice, presented well enough and clearly all Fresh /nicely prepared though portion size was a little small for my own liking given what they charge, it was nothing special, the staff were all friendly and helpful though service did seem a little slow however it was fairly busy in their defence Not a bad place but I wouldn't go again out of choice. You get the same sort of experience in Miller and Carter, probably slightly cheaper. Shame really I was expecting something quite nice and wanted to like this place.
We had a great meal which was served promptly, great choice of drinks and tasty food. Only downside was that we had booked our table for 6:30pm and when booking on line you are given a choice of when to return your table, we chose 8:15pm. Just before 8pm we were sat chatting and drinking and was asked by the waitress to vacate our seats as the table was needed, I pointed out the choice option on line and she said she did not know about that. As we were leaving I noticed a distinct lack of people waiting to be seated.
