I visit this shop almost every time I'm in Newcastle. The staff are very friendly, the shop itself is quite large so there's plenty of breathing room, immaculate floors and shelves for the most part with reasonable pricing. The only downside to this place is that new additions are rather slow at least for the content I enjoy. I would love to see some solo levelling posters or figures.
I love this place, definitely my go-to for certain books. The staff are always friendly, polite and smiling. I buy most of my hardback books from here and if I'm lucky, there'll be an exclusive edition that's signed by the author.
Every time, EVERY time I visit this place just to kill some time and to have a little look-see, I end up parting with some hard earned pounds OK, just pounds . Currently doing the rounds are facsimile comics, and they have such a wide variety of them from time to time. Only thing is they are priced in dollars and I feel the dollar to pound ratio is not the best. The staff as well as fellow customers are very friendly! The store is nice and clean and so large too. There's a wide selection of products, from collectible toys to books to comics and games. Could have spent longer in here but only had half an hour spare. A must visit if you're in Town and want to get your "geek on" .
This shop has got worse and worse : They took away the cute Pusheen and Sanrio section and now it's just all comic books. Forbidden planet is usually all sorts with a comic book section in there too. They have a cool giant fallout statue but they don't have anything fallout related. Seemed to all be DC, Marvel and questionable looking manga comics The staff were very nice tho can't knock them! Hence the stars :
Great compact store selling everything you could ever want in terms of comic books, DC, Marvel, Star Wars, the list goes on. I purchased two Star Wars books I haven’t got which is fantastic as Waterstones generally don’t stock the latest ones. I wish there were one in Lincoln where I live! Will be back here if visiting Newcastle again.
Good selection of merch and decent pricing on a fair few of them, walked out with more than I had planned!
Your destination for comic book and related accessories. They have comic books obviously, mangas, mugs, posters, POP figures, etc. I also read a sign at the cashier that they have student discount as well.
Good store with a lot of comics and books with so low prices. I got my book 1 pound!!
New store is fantastic so much lighter and more spacious. Bigger variety of stock just a shame there wasn't a lot of Star Trek, wouldn't rate of down though since this was opening day.
Great selection of books, with good prices and friendly helpful staff.always worth a look in when in town.
