This place is like a rare gem among the mountain of overpriced pub grub and unoriginal chip shops crowding this country. The food is interesting, varied, colourful, and prepared to a high standard. The service is fast when it's not busy and always absolutely delightful. This only adds to the already laid-back atmosphere of the establishment, being small with only a few tables, very aesthetic graffiti on the walls, good tunes coming through the stereo; it's an ideal place to go for a quick, satisfying lunch, and I know I have been, and will continue to spread the good word about Food Anarchy. Bravo, please never change.
Just had the "Big Kahuna Burger" it lives up to it's name. Really tasty burger bursting with flavour. The chips that came with the burger were not a small portion either. I would recommend that you collect this masterpiece rather than have it delivered as the chips don't travel well.
Food Anarchy Cyprian Slouvaki for lunch today - great taste, lots of chicken freshly prepared with extra home made hummus and tsatsiki, salad and chips. I wasn't intending to eat it all offered a doggy bag to take away but somehow I managed to. Didn't need anything else for the rest of the day because the portions are very generous price slightly reflects this but is actually good value. This place has a great bright cheerful atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. Opposite the Art College in Perth Road.
Great place to eat in Dundee. I have visited there few times now and each time meal is prepared fresh, plenty of it for super cheap £3.50-£6.50, Inc a drink. Great value for money. Staff is always super nice and the decor is just worth seeing anyway. Enjoy!
Got a deliveroo from Food Anarchy. Very disappointed. I went into the restaurant in the weeks and it was great meal, whilst being value for money. My take out experience is the exact opposite. Small, lukewarm portions for £10 a pop each. 3 pieces of chicken in my portion. Poor.
After reading reviews and seeing this place was on Deliveroo my wife and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately the burgers that arrived were very poor and would not be out of place at a cheap burger van. The chicken goujons, while sounding tasty, had not travelled well and as a result were soggy. This was the same story for the fries and in fact most of the food ended up on the bin. Maybe a different story if you go in to store but I would warn anybody not to go down the Deliveroo route. On a more positive note the person who delivered our food was very pleasant.
Had a falafel plate from Food Anarchy via deliveroo. Everything was amazing. All the sauces were excellent, salad was crisp, nice fresh bread/wrap and hearty falafels. Massive portion. Thanks!
Thing i love about this place is they have sketch books at everytable so you can draw while you wait for your food. After ordering i had the task in hand figureing out what to draw so i decided to spread some happiness in this cruel dark world and draw a sunflower with a smiley face on him/her. So i got the body then the face and the leaves but before i drew the eyes i thought he or she needed an eyepatch then it got wierder i drew teeth with blood trickling down its cheek stareing right at whoever had opened the book this wasnt a sunflower that wanted to spread happiness anymore this was a sunflower who was sick of cheering people up and decided to ruin days....and lives so he or she hides in the pages of that one sketch book seeking its next victim Then my chimichangas arrived and they were pretty great would definatly come again but dont try and find the sunflower it will find you.....
Street food from all over the world. The currywurst is the best I've had outside berlin. Cheap prices, generous portions and free drinks with a meal.
Food Anarchy is a brilliant inexpensive joy, great food and extremely friendly, the staff are exceptionally friendly and will cater for your tastes and mix and match your needs. Really enjoyable whatever your age !!
