"Fondo Lounge is in a great spot in Street, right in the middle of the High Street. We’ve great big windows running along the front, a lovely garden terrace out the back and a light and airy space with some cosy corners in between. We serve a fantastic range of food and drink including full gluten free, vegan and kids menus in a really relaxed, welcoming environment and our name is the Italian for sole, in honour of Street’s finest, Clarks Shoes. You could say we’ve got sole."

Very nice place in the clarks village. We had a burger with bacon and sweet potatoes that was really good. The salad with chicken, avocado and bacon really surprised me. The chicken is very well done and the taste was outstanding. The staff is really friendly and nice and helpful.Recommended dishesSalad with Chicken Ham and Avocado
This lounge has plenty of seating, and has a big floor space. It is bright and cheery. The Fondo Lounge has lots of character that you don't see in a transitional eating establishment. They have a wide choice of foods and drinks including vegan and vegetarian meals. Situated in street's high street. Just outside Glastembury Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan meals on the extensive food menus, including deserts. Kid-friendliness: This Loungear is welcoming to all children of all ages Parking: As far as I can tell there is very little parking available Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchairs accessable with wide spaces and gaps between tables.
Came here for a quick breakfast. Service was good- the staff were friendly and got food out in a timely manner. Very clean place , too.

Excellent. Polite, friendly and professional, very busy too for morning trade . Very clean, very good service more like a high end restraunt. I judge breakfast on coffee and sausages, flat white good price, foamy coffee heaven followed by strong smooth coffee paradise. Good meaty Herby banger, bacon? Smoked and salty crispy deliciousness, not greasy but quality kept us full all day long. Little bit more expensive but then the quality speaks for itself. Child friendly, disabled friendly the buzz of the atmosphere told me soon as we walked in full of happy people; and that's a rare thing these days. Great menu, lots of choices wife had the standard breakfast, I had pancakes and bacon with poached eggs. Proper poached with care, sourdough bread, good food, good atmosphere, coffee - what more do you need to start your day? Well done Fondo! Vegetarian options: Fully compatible with vegetable lovers, though speaking as a carnivore it's not for me, each to their own. Kid-friendliness: Full of happy laughing kids Parking: Parking behind building, 2m walk Wheelchair accessibility: Fully compatible. Dietary restrictions: Asked at the start, like I say professional.
Lovely food and atmosphere to the place, central to the High Street. Offer a decent tapas and wine deal which is surprisingly filling. They also offer great full menus for vegans and gluten free, not just a few things, so an excellent place if you need something for everyone. Reasonably priced.Food: 4/5
Enjoyed a bit of time to myself this morning. Food came out quickly and was fresh and hot. Service was quick all round and friendly. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options available Kid-friendliness: Lots of family games available for customers and decent menu
My curry was so good I had to write a 5 star review about it!! I arrived at 5pm on a Sunday afternoon which was absolutely perfect, only a few other people coming in and out during this time which made for a very relaxing experience teamed with the music being played. I ordered the sweet potato and lentil curry which was absolutely to die for, and very decently priced. Very friendly waitress and bar staff, I'd encourage everybody to visit.
Some very good ales here especially the Bewdog varieties. Not very busy on my recent trip
