He Folly is part of the Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and what a view back towards Plymouth. Located probably less than a mike from the main house and on just off the South West foot path. Just after leaving the folly, we saw 4 young . A tad windy so I bet that in the height of summer or a lovely spring day it would be fantastic
Nice walk over here. Usually walk over to Cawsand but the ferry back wasn't running due to the wind. Great views of Plymouth.
It was a wonderful place to visit. We spent more than 3 hours there. Beautiful landscape and natural beauty. Love to visit again.
Beautiful scenery easy to walk to
One of my favourite places in Cornwall. Formal gardens, sea views, wooded walks and all free entry payment for house and house gardens. This is a full day out for all the family and is even better on one of their special event days.
WARNING: Mind your head, literally! The granite stone above your head at the entrance is very low when stepping on the first step. As you step up you will mosy likely bang your head. I was almost knocked unconscious and fell to the ground in agony. For 3 days after, I had severe pain in my head and neck. There really needs to be a foam protector under the stone that crosses over the entrance and a warning sign.
Great walk, very peaceful.. well worth a visit.. you can bring your dog, which is a bonus
Quite a hard walk up too if your not very good on your feet but the view of plymouth is fantastic

Better views of Plymouth then from any other location. Especially when it's sunny
