Clean & tidy station. Very well maintained with a good waiting room that has an impressive painting on its wall. The staff is polite and friendly. Trains are mostly regular on time. Good & fast connection for London Bridge, St Pancras and dover on high speed trains.
If you love the story of Paddingon the Bear, then try to find a sculpture of this cute character under one of the benches at the station. And I also recommend perfectly clean toilets
Bad service. I asked for a ticket to Dover on senior railcard. I could not even hear the person behind the counter who obviously wanted something though I could not understand what it was. When the card machine did not show the cost for me to use my card he came out of the ticket office and used the ticket machine to obtain a ticket. Made a sarcastic remark 'if you weren't so awkward'.
I purchase my tickets before I arrive...... No need to talk to anyone........ The cafe is okay and toilets are not too bad!
8:00am and all ticket and information desks are shut, with only one ticket machine operational!!! Huge line for ticket collection!Open return to London is like 90£ and you can't even provide sufficient infrastructure to accommodate, not mentioning that the train was delayed!
