Quality is dropping slowly. Last week the batter was so hard, we couldn’t eat it, and the fish was half the size of the usual one, and even that small fish was dry. Chips was like bottom of the bag, rock solid tiny shreds . Didn’t enjoy my food at all, most of it went to the bin. I only gave 3 stars, because it used to be really nice, and I am hoping that they will change back to high quality.
We rang up and ordered four meals. When we got home we were one fish short. I rang up and the chap I spoke to, who said he was the manager was extremely rude to me and actually shouted at me when I explained I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to my fish and chips. He had written the order down wrong over the phone and that's why we were one fish short. No apology and a raised voice is just not good enough and I will never go there again after a bad experience. He needs to learn basic customer service. Vegetarian options: Veggie burger was tasteless and a very dry bread bun. Uninspiring.

Not had Fish and Chips for a long time. So to help out the local Chippy I came here. I now wonder why I haven't had them for a while. It was pure perfection. Good quantity and quality and great value. Busy and everything was nice fresh and hot. I know what I'm doing next pay day

Expensive for what you get, owner put way too much salt on my chips, had to stop eating them. Friendly bloke though.
Must admit I don't use this chippy often, I was buying for myself and mum and decided to try it out. It was lovely, fish was great, not to greasy and the chips done perfectly. Shop is spotless and spacious, I would recommend this chippy
Haven't been here for a number of years, certainly since it changed hands/name. One member of staff behind counter doing everything - but he was very quick at serving, etc. Chips and fish cooked fresh, decent sized portions and very tasty Well done - looking forward to visiting again
