Coffee is always excellent here, as is the service but on the Saturday I arrived 8:30 the pastries weren't ready and didn't make the counter until we left an hour later.

Called for a loaf of bread, morning coffee and a muffin. Unfortunately the muffin was dry, probably from the day before. No excuse in a bakery. I sat for half an hour having taken only one bite. The staff were too busy chatting to each other to notice. A pity because this company started with a wonderful concept of the small independent bakery but now has leanings towards the corporate. Forget the uniforms and chain image and get back to your roots is my advice.

Went on a busy Saturday afternoon. Just managed to get a seat, was great to see an independent cafe busy.nHad a delicious sausage roll warmed. It would have been nice if it had a side salad, but the sausage roll was lovely. The coffee was good and the rocky road was a perfect finish to a treat lunch. The staff were very friendly and took the order at the table saving us getting up again to order dessert. Would visit again if in Eccleshall again.

Our 3rd visit, always come here when we are in the area and as always  a lovely atmosphere,  with friendly staff and great value food and coffee
