Because the kids had a lot of fun, I am giving it a 3 stars, but otherwise I’d give it a 1 star. Like many other reviews, I found the place extremely filthy and not well maintained. It’s also very impractical. If you’re driving, you may be disappointed. Whilst parking is free for jumpers, it was absolutely full and some more. Despite waiting, waiting and waiting, it never emptied and so when we ended up running out of time, I ended up finding another car park 5 min walk which unfortunately I had to pay for. Then when we arrived there were no locker available which you have to pay for unlike other locations and wasn’t comfortable leaving my stuff around with my valuables in. Eventually, I saw someone clearing their lockers, yet the system still didn’t let me rent it. Upon speaking with the staff, they told me that was because the previous user did not clear it and so the system still thought it was in use. In the end, they told me I could use it for free but would need to ask for a staff member to open it up each time. Whilst I appreciated their goodwill gesture, I was concerned that either the previous user and/or a new user could access the locker when the renting period came to an end….nnNow onto the facilities, beyond the overall cleanness of the place, it’s actually quite big. I think it might be the biggest between Canary Wharf and Lakeside as a comparison. It’s split between 2 floors. The ground floor is mainly tailored for younger crowds, whilst the upstairs caters for older kids. Although everyone would enjoy either or. We personally enjoyed a lot the soft play area and bouncy castle where we did races & played hide & seek.nnUnsure I would return if going on my own as too much stress.
Would ideally leave 0 stars. it’s such a complete rip off, my friend and I booked 2 hours didn’t even stay that long as a fun time off uni as it’s “suitable for all ages” but that’s rubbish. For starters the building makes you feel like you’re about to get your organs harvested, it’s so dodgy and the outside looks like a front for money laundering. Inside, it’s so dirty it’s horrible, the toilets aren’t cleaned at all there was mould on the toilet paper! It looks nothing like it does on the website, most of the activities that we were looking forward to were shut e.g the ninja course which is just disappointing and the things that were open were just disgusting. Rubbish was everywhere and there was no where near enough staff. The staff that were there were just on their phones and even the manager was walking round looking like he didn’t care! It’s scary how little the rules are enforced and they don’t even check if people watch the safety video. Do not take your child here unless you want them to get some sort of disease and probably some broken bones. And if you’re older, it’s even more of a waste of time as everything for older kids/adults is shut. Waste of money.
I was completely shocked visiting Flip Out for the first time. We were three adults and four kids. We had spent over £100 on entrance for two hours but barely stayed one. The outside of the building was dilapidated, and when we entered it was dirty and run down. As other reviewers have said, it was literally an ice box- completely freezing cold. I don’t know how the staff can work there in such conditions. Only the trampolines were open- no caving, no drop slides or soft play as advertised on the website. However, no apologies from the staff. Honestly, I am disgusted that this place is even open- it should be shut down. I was visiting from outside the area, but families who live around here deserve so much better than this. Please do not bring your children here. Do not spend any of your hard earned money on this! Truly horrible experience.
Kids loved this not sure why they state it's in barking when it's in eastham, we were lucky enough to go when it was quiet otherwise would have been crammed, however 2 floors of fun for all the kids was suitable for children aged 3 to 18. My kids did do the caving but the lights on the hats were not working so my husband had to use his phone if your claustrophobic do not attempt.
Two stars because the kids had fun. However, this was such a depressing way to spend a Saturday afternoon.nThe branch itself is run down, dirty and scruffy. For parents hoping to sit in the cafe while the kids bounce, you’ll be sat freezing as the place is so cold. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable but don’t look happy, which is unsurprising; they’re spending their working day in this dark, dingy, freezing cold cave.nWe had paid in advance for two hours but left after an hour because the adults had enough. For what we paid, we would have expected all areas to be open and functioning but this wasn’t the case. This place needs a serious cash injection to breathe some life into it. Needless to say, we won’t be back.
