We were really pleased with the recent work carried out by Richard and Max, their attention to detail was exceptional, along with Rada, who kept us informed of all aspects of the work to be carried out. Rada was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and more than happy to answer any questions that we may have, they clearly make a great team and it shows. Would definitely recommend this Company, Richard is very professional and has done a first class job of installing a multi-fuel fire and fire surround. As my review seemed to have vanished from Google I’m reposting! Words fail me with the company and how it’s run… I feel sorry for the people answering the phones they are great and very helpful. But Dean the owner is very unprofessional with no customer care or understanding. Basically if he doesn’t want to do the work you will never hear from him again rather than being honest… 3 follow up calls over 3 months finally got a response, not from Dean or with a quote, to inform me, Dean is willing to do a quote but wants confirmation from me first! I’m not sure he understands how quotes work! I equally don’t know what confirmation he wanted from me. If you’re wanting a full brand new installation I’m sure Dean will bend over backwards to sort that out… But if you want to maintain the fire you already have then please save your time and don’t use this company. I read the negative reviews on here and took them with a pinch of salt, until the same thing happened to me. So please take notice of the poor reviews. I personally would recommend Home and Hive or Rangemoors. Both of whom have been in business for longer, both of whom provided a timely quote and talked me through the issues as they looked round not just nip in for 5 minutes and say nothing I would sooner rip my fires out than let this company near them! Even one star is one star too many!
Absolutely love our new fireplace! Flaming Grate were brilliant from start to finish. Rada was excellent in helping us decide on the design and Richard was exceptional in terms of his craftsmanship in fitting the fireplace. Would highly recommend!

I am very happy to write this review as I feel we had first class service and workmanship from start to finish. We had an idea of what we wanted and were guided and advised as to what would be best for us. There was a blip when our surround arrived damaged but Rada kept us informed of the outcome. Richard obviously knows exactly what he is doing, is a very tidy worker and the fitting went seamlessly. We love our new fire! I would recommend Flaming Grate without hesitation.

What a team! Both Rada and Richard gave us 1st class service and support during our house rebuild. They gave forthright advice backed by knowledge, expertise and experience. Richard did the installation of two fires in difficult circumstances Builders! and was impressive in his ability to adapt and just get on with the job in hand according to the timelines. He gave us full confidence and was respectful at all times of our newly installed wooden floor and decorations. Clean, tidy and seemlessly efficient I would recommend this great company! We had excellent service from Flaming Grate. Ours was not an easy installation as a new gas supply had to be run from one side of the house to the other. This was done with minimum fuss or disruption. We are delighted with our new fire and would recommend FG without hesitation.
