The worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. My fish tasted off. If I get food poisoning you will be hearing from me.

Five Stars for the best, freshest Haddock in Manchester. Batter was superb. A nice crisp texture, creamy taste and cooked perfectly. Varied size between fish portions. Fresh oil with no aftertaste. Peas great, no dye. Chips sadly only Four Stars. Small, dry and hard scraggy ends. Seemed like the bottom of old batch so I will ask for fresh next time. My Grandmama ate all her batter and left the chips... Ahem; strange pricing anomaly: 9oz Cod, Chips & Peas £7.95 9oz Haddock, Chips & Peas £7.95 Catch of the Day? (COD) 9oz Cod, Chips, Peas with bread, butter and Tea £8.95 We asked for Catch deal with Haddock instead but they said they were unable to do this because Cod was cheaper. .. . ? Undeterred by odd mathematical logic I made my case but they stuck to their guns and we had to pay £9.70 per head to have tea with Haddock, Chips n Peas without bread. Something about attracting punters?? Just don't get your accounts done there :-D I will be back if they don't get moody about challenging a very un-Traditional logic and hope chips be better. That said he's a smart lad learning fast about frying fish. Good Fishy.
