The burger was pretty good. We asked for a little ketchup and mustard but there was a lot! I should have/could've mentioned about it but to be honest the experience was not great and I didn't want to have to interact with the staff again. I appreciate we were there early and the staff may be new...but a smile doesn't go amiss! Nor would it hurt to have some experienced staff to help those new to the burger game! Hope that the service improves as Five Guys is one of our favourites! Kid-friendliness: Lovely safe high chairs and small size portions available for a lot of the menu.
So I had only had five guys in America before and I loved it, when I found out one had opened locally to me I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered a cheese burger, regular fries and regular drink, came to just over £18! Ok so the burger you get two patties, cheese and a toasted bun, to say it was disappointing would be an understatement. All you could taste was the cheese, the burgers were tasteless, not a hint of seasoning, really poor. The fries, so you get LOADS, more than you need which seems silly, again tasteless. No crunch, bland unseasoned boring limp chips! The drink, well you can really get that wrong to be fair. 3/10 at best! Really poor….. I’d happy pay £18 for a decent burger meal, but this was far from decent. A double 1/4lb meal from McDonald’s is 1/3 of the price and twice as nice when compared to this visit. Was it just today, was it just my burger and fries, who knows but I won’t be going back.
Amazing burgers and fries!! Making your own refills was really fun to mix and play with. Huge topping selection. Peanuts were extraordinary. A lot of fries like always haha. One improvement make a screen for orders coming and ready for collection! Amazing restaurant and work!!
Such a nice addition to a local High Street! The place is well maintained, clean and organised. We were welcomed by the friendly staff, who took our order and explained the choices on the menu. The burgers were super juicy and the fries are the best! Overall great service and experience-thank you guys
Five Guys never disappoints and the Tunbridge Wells branch was the best we’ve visited so far! Thank you to the manager who made a special fuss of my friend’s son who was celebrating his birthday. Clean facilities. Ideally located outside Royal Victoria Place. Plenty of tables. Super friendly & helpful staff. Great burgers and fries. the size of the fries is mucher larger than I thought they would be
No idea what all the hype is about. Fairly average small burgers at restaurant prices and not even particularly fast. The restaurant itself is nice enough clean environment but was dead. Milkshake was good and the fries were way too salty. We have some great independent burger places in Tunbridge Wells so don't think I'll be going back here in a hurry.
Five Guys has recently opened in Tunbridge Wells. It's right in the town center, so it doesn't have its own parking. You will need to park in the town center car parks if you drove, but they are just a few minutes away. There is a large seating area, and is all very bright cheerful, and clean. One has to remember though that Five Guys is eye wateringly expensive. Yes you can custom build you own topping for your burger, yes it tasted really good. But when a bacon burger with cheese and regular fries, without a drink costs £13.50 it's very expensive.
My experience here was pretty swell. The staff were very nice and conducted themselves well, and the service was spot on. They give you excess fries as well! Will definitely come again!
Bought a cheeseburger to takeaway. First time trying Five Guys. Burger very nice and loved the choice of extras, but the cheese was very plastic, leaving a nasty taste. If the cheese had been real, then they would have had 5*. The staff were great btw. The cheese was worse than McD and seems to be a regular for American firms.
