The warmest welcome I've had in a very long time. Well located to explore the city. Service is impeccable. Shout out to Nigel who was a top man and so helpful. Drinks/cocktails were tip notch l. Breakfast food good but not matching the standards of the rest of the experience.Rooms: 5/5
Overall nice little hotel. The mattress was really comfortable, but you do find small issues like stained carpet and loose aircon unit control panel etc. Not very impressed with their breakfast, would expect more from a 5* hotel. However I must say the cocktails from the ground floor bar were top notch! Really friendly bartenders and definitely know what they are doing
Fantastic!! Was here last night with partner. Staff were amazing throughout from check-in to breakfast staff. All staff were amazing but special shout out to a lady who was working breakfast today, brown hair wearing a suit think a manger maybe she was outstanding very friendly and attentive. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Belfast.
Originally booked into an executive king room at €375 for two nights. Was told I was being upgraded to a superior king room only to be given a twin room room 318 with the two mattresses pushed together on a king size bed frame. Not good enough for a five star hotel. My girlfriend also had a bottle of perfume stolen from our room whenever somebody came in to turn down the beds . Manager wasn’t one bit helpful just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could really do about it. At €375 for two nights in a “five star hotel” the service should be way better. That was my second time staying in the hotel and it’ll certainly be my last.
We had such a great experience at the Fitzwilliam!! Easy check-in, although a little late but there was a beautiful bar for us to grab a drink while we waited. Bathrooms on the first floor, super helpful front desk staff, turn down service, robe and slippers, French press coffee but also instant with a water kettle if you find French press intimidating. Location was great, they happily held our bags for us while we tooled around on the last day even after our checkout time. The concierge we dealt with through most of the trip was Philip and he was AMAZING!! We bugged him with questions, recommendations, taxi services, dinner reservations, etc, through the entire stay and he never let us down!!!
We hosted our drinks reception at the Fitwilliam Hotel in Belfast and the hospitality, atmosphere and service were stellar! I cannot recommend them enough they were great - especially Bryan who was taking care of us that night. He is an absolute gem and asset to the business. Thank you Bryan for making everything so easy and smooth by being so professional but also friendly.
Amazing hotel. Staff were absolutely brilliant, in particular George and Peter who assisted us with parking and our luggage. Views from the room are stunning and the room was so comfortable. Very well located in the city centre. We will definitely be back. Thank you. Rooms: Very comfortable, bed was a good size and so comfortable. Great views. Nearby activities: Everything in Belfast city centre is so close. Everything is walking distance and close to the railway station and buses too.
Felt like royalty. Food was delicious. Great pre opera house dinner. Then breakfast was amazing, lots to choose from. Staff polite, professional and very obliging. We return. Great idea if going to a show at the opera House next door.
The hotel was lovely - the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. The room was clean with great decor and the bed/linens were very comfortable! Great proximity to all the shops, restaurants and sites of Belfast!Rooms: 5/5
This hotel was the last place we stayed in our UK road trip. We had plenty of experience with other hotels and services previously. I must say they got it right in 99% of situations. Let’s say the other hotels were 90% which is perfectly the new norm after covid in our experience staying at other 5 star hotels. There was a small hiccup regarding a reservation and they resolved it immediately and made it up to us within a time it takes to have a small conversation. They had our best interest and it showed when I was talking to Lauren, the manager on shift. The other groups I must give credit: *The breakfast was flawless, my family enjoyed the selection and quality and presentation *The bar was great as well, I came to have a Irish old fashion and it was like I was in a bee hive: the whole team worked well together and there was live music. *Concierge team helped us schedule all dinners and tours and helped us enjoy Belfast even more. I must give a shout out to Gavin. Overall, this TEAM was on the same page of customer service and they all contributed to a stay that my family must remember for many years. I would definitely recommend them!
