Stopped in for a spot of lunch. Great efficient, friendly service with great value food with large portions. Highly recommend.

We have been here several times to celebrate family birthdays or just for a meal out. Great food, lots to choose from. Service is amazing and food fantastic. Nice selection of beers. Lovely lovely atmosphere. Worth booking ahead as it's popular, especially with the locals!Food: 5/5

The food was absolutely lovely. Good amount of choices. Came out very hot and well presented Staff came over as all friendly, approachable and helpful Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be going back   Dietary restrictions: I was very impressed with the choices of puddings I could choose from  gluten free  as normally I only have chocolate brownie available

Updated 07/09/2022 Had a fantastic meal here on Wednesday. Was quite busy so best to book in advance. Two of us had the steak and Guinness pie and it was possibly one of the best pies ever! Big chunks of top quality steak with just the right amount of juice, perfect. Served with chips and peas. The girls had sausage and mash, and the bbq ribs. Again both excellent meals, good portions and very well presented. A shade over £20pp including drinks and coffee. All served by great staff  Many thanks to all there.

Lovely village family pub. Staff were very helpful and polite. Staff interaction with children when ordering was really sweet and very much appreciated by my daughters who felt very important ordering their own meals. Quality of the food is really good and decent sized portions. Really good value for money, roughly £20 per person for main and pudding. Good choice on children's menu, which has options for smaller children and older children. Although even the younger childs meal was a very generous sized portion. Nice little play area in the garden with slide and climbing frame. My only suggestion would be to offer colouring in /activity sheets and crayons/colour pencils to keep the children entertained whilst waiting. Although tbf we didn't have ti wait too long for our food after ordering, but to a 4 yr old it was "ages!!!! " Would definitely recommend to others and we will definitely be regular customers here in the future.

We have eaten here several times. No matter how quiet or busy the food arrives in a reasonable time frame is hot and delicious. The staff are attentive and friendly. I heartily recommend it.Food: 4/5

I would like to thank the staff for their wonderful service today.  There was 12 of us and everyone really enjoyed the food.  The staff made us all feel very welcome including the dog.  We certainly will be going back again soon.   Thank you all.

Beautiful pub restaurant. Beef on roast dinner a little fatty to cut through but meat was tender. Everything tasted beautiful! Long service to wait to pay at the end.Food: 4/5
