Fine for my family and myself staying in our own camper however the power kept tripping that we had paid extra for because they had the fuses set to 6 amps so people couldn't be over using !!! Also tried to wash clothes after spending 28 euro I gave up and just went home with soaking wet clothes in a bag!! Whatever you do, do not stay in the mobile homes . We had family staying in one and let's just say the bed bugs wouldn't even stay in it!!!! Dirty smelly vile place ... Will never be returning
plenty of space and practically right on the beach's doorstep. the place is pretty well maintained, staff are lovely and the place is very quiet after about 10/10:30 which is a bonus when your with younger kids. i'd have given it a much higher rating however........one of our party had to spend the better part of the first day cleaning and airing the caravan they had, ours in fairness was spotless, but it shouldn't be hit or miss if you get a caravan you have to clean! such as shame as otherwise an easy 4, possibly even a 5 star rating.
Pros: Location is great for popping down to the main promenade & amusements. On site shop is fantastic, & owner is so helpful with all tourist information & things to do. Park is kept immaculate constantly. Staff are lovely. Cons: concrete block steps up to the mobile are lethal, especially with small children. My son was disabled, so could not use his walker at all, & resulted to crawling while there. I paid €100 extra for a luxury, & extra big mobile, & it ended up being bog standard, nothing special, and the exact same as every mobile home there! The huge downside we could not get use to, which we've never experienced in any other mobile park, people, children cycling, kicking footballs, running screaming could run though & all around each mobile, as there is nothing segregating each one. It's all open. Every other Park, there is hedging, fencing or walls behind each mobile, lining each row of mobiles to give privacy. We were disturbed 24/7 by anyone walking by our windows & doors, kids lobbing footballs off our mobile, kids cycling round our jeep. The worst bit was our neighbour parking their car underneath our living room/kitchen windows & blaring dance music for hours from it! But worst of all, the beds. Omg the beds were not beds.. they were boxes. I don't know where or how they even bought these, as they don't constitute as beds. They are a box, and will break you, after one night. We tried to layer up underneath with towels, & fleece blankets, but didn't help much. So we can't wait to go back to Tramore, but we will be going to the mobile park that's the next entrance up from Fitzmaurice.
Nice place, great for family's. Staff very helpful. The mobile I rented Was a H type and was in bad condition, there was a smell of it and dirty! After complaining we got Move to a G type and it was decent but a bit over priced. We would definetly return if it was cheaper.
Mobile was filthy . Beds are like sleeping on concrete blocks and the smell out of em was disgusting. Won't be back there again . Fridge was leaking and we were welcomed with a pool of water in the middle of the mobile. The mobile was ancient definitely back in the 80s . Didn't even try the cooker because the look of it turned us off it.
ah here now lads, place is fair amazing like, big puddle of water soaking everywhere. lights wouldn’t work, cooker doesn’t work, heater doesn’t work. Had to eat leftovers and cuddle up. big stain on the walls, attacked by moths, kids stalking us. acrylic nail left on the step, not very clean. i am ashamed to say i stayed here for 2 nights, only way to cope was smirnoff. don’t recommend. think i got every std known to man from just sitting on the sofa mould on the ceiling scared our food was gonna get robbed people trying to break in during the night and they had the audacity to complain to us? we almost died.
I don’t know how people can give this place a 6 star review, Have they no standards. The price for what you get which is nothing but a dirty rotten tin box with soiled mattresses and sofas that look like they were taken out of a skip. I went for a 3 night stay which cost €495 and a €50 cash deposit if you damaged the already rotten mobile home. We lasted 2 hours before demanding our money back which was met with hostile attitude from the owner son to be told what do you expect. And them to be told your not getting your deposit back which I did. The owner was nice to deal with but his son needs to brush up on his people skills. If you are thinking of staying here my advice would be avoid at all cost you’ll thank me later.
I stayed here for a week stay with my family and it was horrible! The carvian was fuilty and half of my family was sick bc of it. the toilets and shower. The blankets were damp and fuilty the carvian is like living in a tent! We asked the cleaner to wash the blankets because no way were sleeping on that. And guess what? She brings it back damp and fuilty. The windows are leaking and you want to get them checked out.half of my family was sick. And the smell of damp of the carvian is unreal. I paid for a nice carvian not an 80s one. My kids couldn't even play outside without them being picked on! My kids couldn't even go to the gameing room. They said we're not allowed to bring dogs and guess what?we seen all the dogs running around. It doesn't make any sense! I had to spend my last few pennies on extra washing bc the washing machine wouldn't work! I really was unhappy leaving. I'm not coming here again and I hope that you spend our £987 on something nice for yourself Bye
Great place to camp or rent a trailer, staff are so helpful and informing, kids can run around and make friends very easily and more importantly, safely. Only 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from town, just great
I am truly embarrassed to say that I spent 2 whole nights of my life here let me sum this up for ya’ll readers starting off, this place is very overpriced with the conditions we had to live in which were not even liveable for these 2 long dragged out nights. Nothing worked apart from a bathroom light and the sitting room lights and a fridge that barely worked and was leaking, we were left swimming in this place who needs a beach when you have a swimming pool in a mobile home, overall this place was truly disgusting and not at all cleaned, we are then expected to clean when we arrived it was worse than when we left it so do not stay here if you want to catch some unknown diseases with stains and mould being splattered over the place. I would not recommend!!!
