Possibly the best fish I’ve tasted, chips were good as well! My mum liked it that much she had another piece of fish.
The Fishnet...where should I start. 3 - 4 years ago this was the best chip shop in the north west with a plethora of different fish to choose from, the "fat" in the fryers was changed regularly and staff friendly and appreciative of your continued custom and support. Now 3 - 4 years later, the chippy has changed hands. The pine oil in the fryers has been replaced with a poorer cheaper alternative which isn't changed at all. The fish is a lucky dip and wouldn't want to know where it came from. The portions are meagre at best and the price has sky rocketed I can only presume this is because of the lack of business as the quality has taken a nose dive.
Used to be the best chip shop in Ashton. I don't understand how you can get served overcooked chips which are completely raw in the middle! Will be finding somewhere else from now on

Come here about once a week & always enjoy the fish & chips. The fish is cooked to perfection. Friendly staff too.
I use to love this chippy but last time me n my son ate here i had a hard bit in chip n put me rite off nearly broke me tooth. when i complained the lady said they changed potatoes so stopped goin since.
I loved all the food and my best friend who is sadly dying of lung cancer said that your staffs one smile brightened up her day. Thank you it meens so much to the both of us.
Best fish and chips in Ashton/Manchester been coming here for 19 years love it.
If you want proper, traditional fish and chips, this is THE place to go! Eat in or takeaway. Deeeeelicious!
Love the people here been going since primary school the staff are like family so kind and polite and I am now 20 I recommend this place to anyone
