Nice selection of fish but staff are far from knowledgeable with regards to the fish they stock and accessories they sell. The shop member John should be avoided if you are looking for fish sexed as he will usually just try to get you in and out as soon as possible telling you he has breeding fish for over 15 years and that all fish are impossible to sex. I am an ametuer fish keeper and have always had trouble with this staff member even when he was employed by dobbies and not fishkeeper Scotland. Today I went to buy led lights and he told me the ones I wanted could not be used with my aquarium as they did not have the fittings for converting from t8, I showed him the box and that it stated it came with the fittings for this very purpose and he shouted another member of staff over to tell me I was wrong. I then showed both the fishkeeper website which had a YouTube video showing these fittings and they both told me the website was wrong and they would contact head office to get it changed. It was at this point I left the shop and went to pets at home I bought the lights there got home and fitted them no problem.

Staff are great, knowledgeable and friendly, always give great advice, lots of stock, fish are always healthy and look great
