First time here. Friendly staff. First time trying Cockle popcorn and it taste interestingly good but I haven’t tried it before so I have nothing to compare with. Fried cod was good as well as it’s not greasy and you still taste the fish. There is room for chips to improve though, a bit tasteless.

Very clean environment, friendly staff and delicious fish and chips, we have also tried fish cake with curry sauce was amazing. Lady at the till was super friendly, you can see all the member of staff well presented with their clean uniform. Definitely would recommend this place

Excellent food. Had the fish tacos. My wife had gluten free battered haddock. We had battered chilli's and pickles. Original and satisfying. Sensibly prices and excellent service. Would recommended.

Best fish and chips in the area, fresh chips, fish had tasty crispy batter, not spongey and soggy like others.

Amazing. Our host/server was really chatty and friendly and we enjoyed talkingto her, sorry we didn't get your name! We enjoyed some really delicious food, battered hallumi stick,frikkles and pickles! Yum! The meals were very generous is portion size. Really enjoyed choice of music too! Clean, enjoyable and delicious food! If we ever find ourselves back in Portsmouth, we will head here again! Thank you

What a great impromptu dinner. Gluten free fish and chips that are so tasty! Onion rings the size of my face too. We highly recommend to give this place a try. Compliments to the chef.

Great food with loads of options for me and my dad who are coeliac's really crunchy batter. Kids portions were a great size with the perfect ratio of fish to chips. Staff really friendly. We will definitely be back thank you

Spur of the moment visit after a ferry trip back to the main land from the Isle of Wight, so hadn't booked a table in the restaurant. Staff were really accomadating and found space for us.  After ordering a table became available and we were offered this. The food was very tasty and came out fast, the batter on the fish was crispy and not soggy and the chips were excellent. Great service and food.

I need gluten free so it was great to find everything gf. It was really good the Cod was fresh, batter crisp and great chips. Very generous portions too - we had regular size. Can't imagine what large would be!

Visited again and very disappointed. Price was now £60 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Fish and onion rings were very greasy. Curry sauce, chips and sausage in batter were all just warm gave to baby to eat straight away served with steaming hot fish. When mentioned chips they did offer to change chips but would have to take all our plates away to do so - after both kids were eating. After this visit we were very unsatisfied and will no longer be one of our chosen places to eat sadly.  2nd visit and 1st visit as a celiac gluten free. Finally somewhere gluten free that's tasty! Gluten free batter is lovely, chips lovely, sausage in batter - delicious makes a change to have proper meat in a sausage from a chip shop. Curry sauce delicious, onion rings amazing....all gluten free and all delicious! Friendly staff and cooked fresh at good prices. Well worth a visit!
