I had been thinking exactly that.  And with the same hands they take the money with.  Plus I'd just watched the woman who'd handled our food pick up a pen dropped on the floor.

We had soup bread and butter - the best leek and potato soup I have ever had. Bought very good sausage rolls which we had for tea

Friendly, but the cupcake was okay at best. Not good at all if I'm comparing it to the best of cupcakes. But i appreciate the effort. Scottish sweets are a bit different. Lots of savory options. Very nice older ladies, though. Classic bakery with great reputation.
