18 years ago, Fish N Chick was THE place to go for fish and chips etc. Not only have they move 3 doors down, now it looks a bit worse for wear. People of Grimsby stand tall and get this icon of our heritage back to No.1 in the town!!!
chips are minging its cheap but it aint cheerful. my dog refused to eat a sausage once so i dont eat them. still worth a look in for pie chips and gravy. great for pidgeon feed too.
i live in grimsby and regularly buy my dinner from fish n chik,it does not look like an old chippy...its neatly rendered and painted outside and freshly painted inside, i've never had bad chips the fish is a very decent size for the price you pay which is £2.00 with chips,Benito not 99p,when was the last time you actually went in the fish n chik? the fish and chips heven't been 99p for over 5yrs i noticed your review was only 2mths ago...also noted on the review that was given was that you get a small portion of chips...everytime i've been in there i get a full tray of chips UNDERNEATH my fish not on the side and last but not least also in your opinion you said that the service is rushed...the staff in fish n chik are very good at their jobwhich is why they are quick at servingso if you want good quality food thats CHEAP AS CHIPS tastes delicious and is still hot by the time its served up,go to fish n chik! mmmm..
