Fantastic chippy. Coeliac friendly gluten free and dairy free fish and chips from their dedicated fryer is absolutely delicious. A new favourite!
Just ordered from Uber, haven't eaten here for a while, heard there was new ownership and I just had to try my old favourite chippy, have got to say, this is amazing, double bacon cheeseburger and chips with a battered sausage. It's absolutely delicious!! Definitely going to order more often from here again!
I met the new owners this evening and they were so lovely and welcoming! I had cod and chips with a ‘Wally’ and it was delicious! The fish and the batter were delicious and the chips were twice the portion I could manage so a perfect take out dinner!! Thank you and Good luck!! Sally Heffer
I stopped off here whilst out cycling. I grabbed, battered sausage and chips from the lunchtime specials board. I was very pleased with the quality and portion size, brilliant for £1.99 .. I'll be making a special visit the next time I'm out on my bike. 5 stars from me
Lunch special is a disappointment. Nothing special about it, except its a smaller portion for a relatively cheaper price. I'd expect a normal portion for a reduced price. That's what special means in my dictionary. Other than that, it's a nice chippy, good food and service in general.Food: 4/5
The chips were dry and cold, as well as the battered sausage, which was disappointing : A lot of the chips were the thin crispy ones as opposed to the chunky ones. Didn’t taste fresh at all, lakeside fish and chips is a lot better in terms of quality.
Cracking haddock and good chips all served with a smile. Also some interesting specials on the menu which I'm looking forward to trying next time.
The best cod and chips I've ever had, really fresh flakey white cod lovely crisp batter. The chips were golden and freshly cooked. Two massive pickled onions. Packaged really well. Nice friendly staff too
Brilliant fish and chip shop , staff are lovely and friendly . Food is delicious. Won't go anywhere else. Highly recommend
Beware when ordering from here. Prices are fictitious. Trading standards issue. I was served by a Polish guy and he wanted to over charge on the advertised price for a lunchtime burger and chips. He blamed the owner saying it wasn't his business. Apparently the photo of the burger doesn't come with cheese or relish like in the photo. That's an extra 41pence... Bullsh1t!! Don't open your business if you cannot provide what your selling at the prices you display.. !!!!!
