Our first fixed-rate mortgage was coming to an end in December 2022 with the interest rates rising, myself and wife thought now was a good time to start looking into re-mortgaging now, we didn't go through First Mortgages for our first mortgage but wish we had. Decided to pop into my local First Mortgages branch in Falkirk, not knowing what to expect as this was something new. On entering I met David Allan, who was warm and welcoming, a quick 10 minute chat about what I should expect and a proper appointment booked. David advised what documentation to bring along for our appointment and bring the wife with me. On the appointment, myself and wife met David again, who broke down every question we had, went through our documents. Shows us what deals we could get which were amazing to say the least. Walked out the meeting feeling like we won the lottery, saved us a lot of money over the years of our mortgage by taking TEN YEARS off our mortgage. One week later we met with David again, who secured our new fixed-rate mortgage and David passed all our information over to his colleague Joanne O'Connell. We never met Joanne, however she kept in contact via E-mail constantly, any updates she instantly let us know, a very hard working individual. David and Joanne are a great team and both worked tremendously hard but made it so simple and easy for me and my wife. In 5 years time, I will definitely be returning to First Mortgages in Falkirk to start the process of re-mortgaging again. Thank you so much David and Joanne.

He was very knowledgable and found us the best deal for what we were looking for. Joanne O’Connell was extremely efficient with passing on all of the documentation we needed. We had an excellent experience from the team at the Falkirk branch who made the process easy and straight forward. We would highly recommend First Mortgages.

Megan was recommended to me by a colleague in work. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with, she bent over backwards to arrange a meeting which suited my partner and I in such a short space of time. She went above and beyond to get what was best for us and also to make sure we understood everything from start to finish. Left no stone unturned and made what I thought would be a stressful experience an easy one. I couldn’t recommend her and Josh enough. Josh kept us up to date and at no point did I feel the need to contact them for updates. Great service great people.

Megan was recommended to me by a friend, she was very professional and got me an appointment straight away, she explained the process and next steps to me from the start making the buying process as easy as possible for me. She was very proficient in explaining how everything works as well as recommending a good solicitor for me. Once my offer was accepted she quickly reached out to me again to make sure I'm okay and know what will happen next. At this stage i was introduced to Camryn who has went out her way to keep me updated on the progress of the purchase and my mortgage details. I honestly could not have asked for more from first mortgage. Customer service has been amazing and I am forever grateful. I would highly recommend first mortgage to anyone looking to buy their house.

Despite my being a first time buyer from the first time I spoke to John I felt immediately at ease in my journey buying my first home. The staff are extremely professional and had the knowledge to answer any questions, of which I had many, almost as quickly as I could ask them. From the first meeting with John to then the frequent dialogue with Joanne keeping me up to date with my purchase throughout the process I couldn't recommend them any higher. Even when they were on holiday and when the dreaded Covid reared it's ugly head, the staff at the branch made sure that I was fully briefed on the happenings of my purchase and answered any of my ongoing tirade of questions.
