I called at short notice with an urgent install for a bathroom radiator. 1st Choice came soon after and we’re able to fit the radiator quickly and neatly. This was back in May so I thought I would wait until the radiator was back in use in the winter before leaving a review. It is still working fine with no leaks so I am happy with the service provided. Thoroughly recommended.

Thought it was really expensive for a simple job of pouring chemicals into drains to unblock. Drains was blocking easily so phoned and got an estimate. The final amount was more than what was quoted on the phone. For a job that’s so simple to be fair I could’ve probably done it myself, the chemicals used can be purchased online for £10 a bottle and the guy charged me £195. Is it worth it? well can’t say it wasn’t cause don’t even know if it’ll work but definitely not cheap. Also, was asked to pay in cash right away so literally had to go out to an ATM to get the money. The plumber Mo who seemed nice even offered to drive me to one, which in normal circumstances I should really say no. But, I was not really given I choice to be fair. I mean, I understand why even though the reason he gave me was the card providers charge a lot per transaction. However, I just felt a little uneasy afterwards, especially when there’s no invoice given even when I asked for it, so there’s no proof of cost breakdown. Just something I thought I’ll mention, for future purposes I think they should seriously consider bank transfers or different method of payment. Much easier and definitely safer for the customers in the future.
